    摘要: A method for relieving residual stresses in a part includes increasing the rotation speed, which includes measuring, at a first given instant, values representative of the rotation speed and the radial enlargement; measuring, at a second given instant after the first instant, values representative of the rotation speed and the radial enlargement; determining a leading coefficient of a first affine function from the preceding values; determining a target radial enlargement value as a function of a value representative of the rotation speed, in the form of a second affine function, the origin of which is the value of a desired final residual enlargement and the leading coefficient of which is the leading coefficient of the first affine function; stopping the increase in rotation speed of the part from the moment that the actual enlargement of the rotating part corresponds to the target relative radial enlargement value that has been determined.

    摘要: Methods and systems for efficient and accurate inspection of tubular goods are disclosed. Inner and outer diameter measurements of a tubular good along the entire length are obtained using laser or other light measurement systems. Discrete sections of a tubular good can be identified. For each section, at least one measurement of an outer diameter of an outside surface of the discrete section, and at least one measurement of an inner diameter of an inside surface of the discrete section are obtained. In addition, a geometric center coordinate for each discrete section of the tubular good is obtained. The measurements defining the outside surface, inside surface, and geometric center in association with the longitudinal position of each discrete section are recorded.

    摘要: High-speed method and system for optically measuring a geometric dimension of manufactured parts such as cartridge cases are provided. The parts are consecutively transferred so that the parts travel along a first path which extends to a vision station at which each part has a predetermined position and orientation for optical measuring. An annular, interior side surface of a part which at least partially defines a pocket such as a primer pocket is illuminated when the part is located at the vision station to generate corresponding reflected radiation signals. An optical image of the illuminated interior side surface is formed from the reflected radiation signals at a single image plane. The optical image is detected at the image plane and the detected optical image is processed to determine the geometric dimension which may be primer product diameter.

    摘要: A scanning system comprised of a multi-axis drive module comprised of a first linear drive operable along a first axis, a second linear drive joined to the first linear drive and operable along a second axis non-parallel to the first axis, and a first rotary drive mounted on the second linear drive, operable around an axis parallel to the first axis, and comprised of a rotary fixture for holding the object. A first optical probe is provided for scanning the object. The rotary fixture for holding the object may include a central object-receiving port. A first fluid circuit may be provided, which is in communication with the central object-receiving port. In that manner, an internal cavity of the object may be pressurized through a passageway in the portion of the object that is disposed in the central object-receiving port, thereby stabilizing a region of the object to be scanned.

    摘要: A device for checking steel pipes during production and to a method using the device. The device includes a station for acquiring measurement data representative of physical measurements of the geometry of a pipe taken on an outside thereof, and a computer system configured to store template data applicable in a coordinate system and representative of overall geometry of a sizing body. In a chosen coordinate system, the system then provides a three-dimensional representation of parts of the pipe. For each part of the pipe, the system is referenced to determine a critical parameter, representative of the margin of passage of the sizing body inside a chosen part of the pipe. The method and device may thus establish a diagnostic of traversability of the pipe by a sizing body.
