    摘要: A current and voltage module is provided that includes a housing having an opening extending at least partially therethrough in an axial direction. The housing is configured to receive a conductor within the opening. The module also includes a threaded metal insert extending radially through the housing and configured to align with a threaded opening defined in the conductor. The module further includes a fastening device configured to be inserted within the threaded metal insert and into the threaded opening to electrically couple the housing to the conductor. A voltage sensor is coupled to the threaded metal insert within the housing and is configured to sense an amount of voltage in the conductor. The module also includes a current sensor within the housing configured to sense an amount of current flowing in the conductor.

    摘要: A current sensor includes semi-annular first and second magnetic cores, first and second sensors, and a differential output part. The first magnetic core is provided around a wire in which an electric current flows and includes a pair of first magnetic core parts each having a quarter annular shape. The first sensor is provided in the gap between the first magnetic core parts and detects a magnetic flux. The second magnetic core is provided around the wire and includes a pair of second magnetic core parts each having a quarter annular shape. The first and second magnetic cores form an annular magnetic core. The second sensor is provided in the gap between the second magnetic core parts and detects a magnetic flux. The differential output part outputs the differential output of the outputs of the first and second sensors.

The push-pull measurement bridge is configured to actuate a first electromagnetic device and a second electromagnetic device, in each case in a variable ratio. The first electromagnetic device takes the actuation as a basis for producing an electromagnetic alternating field in a region of the article. The comparator is configured to sense the article if the variable ratio differs from a predetermined ratio by more than a predetermined amount.

    摘要: An improved laminated ferromagnetic FIG. 8 power meter core is provided. The core is fabricated from a plurality of ferromagnetic plates and is formed in the general shape of a FIG. 8. The central leg of the core has a cross-sectional area that is larger than the cross-sectional area of other parts of the core. The core gap, in which a Hall-effect sensor is located, has gap faces with chamfered or rounded over edges to reduce fringing and bypassing effects. The core is formed without discontinuous corners that can result in local saturation and, in use, accommodates electrical power conductors in an over-under looping relationship through the openings of the core to provide a more homogeneous magnetic flux within the core and thus more reliable metering. The overall result is a core with a higher saturation point and thus a wider dynamic range than prior art cores.

    摘要: An induction meter has an improved voltage magnetic section comprised of a substantially E-shaped laminated magnetic core having a center leg and two adjacent legs. A nonmagnetic multi-function support and spacer bracket extending from one of the adjacent legs to the other adjacent leg has three perpendicular extensions which give the bracket a substantially E-shaped configuration and which each are riveted to one of the legs of the magnetic core. The perpendicular extension riveted to the center leg provides support for the voltage coil. A light load adjuster bracket provides an adjustable shunt path for magnetic flux between the main pole face and the auxiliary pole faces. The light load adjuster bracket is located in magnetic proximity to the first side of the magnetic core and is separated therefrom by the nonmagnetic bracket.
