    摘要: A load shed module configured to be connected in series between a power supply and a load is disclosed. A separate load shed module is connected in series between each load and the power supply. The load shed module determines the frequency of the voltage supplied from the power supply. Based on the frequency, the load shed module determines if utility power is connected or if a generator is connected. If the generator is connected and the frequency of the voltage goes outside of a desired operating range for a preset time, the load shed module disconnects the load from the power supply. Each load shed module includes a priority setting and reconnects its corresponding load after a predetermined time corresponding to the priority setting.

    摘要: A current and voltage module is provided that includes a housing having an opening extending at least partially therethrough in an axial direction. The housing is configured to receive a conductor within the opening. The module also includes a threaded metal insert extending radially through the housing and configured to align with a threaded opening defined in the conductor. The module further includes a fastening device configured to be inserted within the threaded metal insert and into the threaded opening to electrically couple the housing to the conductor. A voltage sensor is coupled to the threaded metal insert within the housing and is configured to sense an amount of voltage in the conductor. The module also includes a current sensor within the housing configured to sense an amount of current flowing in the conductor.

    摘要: The coils for a meter current magnet are each formed from a strip of copper, with insulative coating, wound upon itself. A lead-in from its inner end is formed by the strip itself which is extended out around the coil. Flat bends (within the plane of the portion of bent strip) are made possible by forming the blank for the coil with parallel slots in the area to be thus bent. A tie for the outer layer comprises a tongue on the next layer extending through a slot in the outer layer, insulated from it by a plastic sleeve. The wound coils are insulatively coated and insulated from the magnet core and protected from its edges by molded nylon isolators of split-sleeve nature which, in final positioning, are interlocked with the coils for mutual positioning. The coil is outstandingly economical of copper without overheating.

The push-pull measurement bridge is configured to actuate a first electromagnetic device and a second electromagnetic device, in each case in a variable ratio. The comparator is configured to sense the article if the variable ratio differs from a predetermined ratio by more than a predetermined amount.
