摘要: The position of the distance measurement point is acquired from the distance measurement sensor, the lateral position of the road boundary is estimated from the most frequent value in the frequency distribution indicating the distribution status of the distance measurement point group. When multiple peaks having a frequency in the frequency distribution equal to or higher than a predetermined value are disposed on one of the left side and the right side of the vehicle, it is determined whether the estimation of the road boundary is in an unstable state. The vehicle position on the map is specified, and the traveling lane of the vehicle is estimated based on the information about the numerical number of traffic lanes and the positional relationship of the road boundary without using the estimation result of the lateral position of the road boundary in the unstable state.

摘要: A radar system is described. The system comprises a radiation transmission unit, a radiation collection unit, and a processing unit. The radiation transmission unit is configured to generate electromagnetic radiation formed by a plurality of quantum entangled photons comprising first transmitted photon (signal) and second reference photon (idler). The radiation transmission unit transmits the first transmitted photons toward a region to be inspected and measures the second reference photons to obtain and store measured data thereof. The radiation collection unit comprises at least one radiation collection element configured to receive photons reflected from one or more objects in said region and generate data indicative of one or more parameters of the collected photons. The processing unit is configured to receive stored measured data on the second reference photons and data on parameters of the collected photons from the radiation collection unit, and to determine correlation between the stored measured data and the collected photons to thereby differentiate between noise collected photons and reflection of said first transmitted photons from one or more objects in the region to be inspected.

摘要: A radar system, apparatus, architecture, and method are provided with a transmitter that produces a plurality of distinct FanTOM signals that are transmitted as N RF-encoded transmit signals in an overlapped fashion such that the pulse repetition interval and frame length are kept short; a receiver that processes target return signals reflected from the N RF-encoded transmit signals with a mixer to produce an IF signal which is filtered with one or more notch filters clocked with a sampling clock frequency to control harmonic notch frequencies to suppress transmitter spill-over and close-in self-clutter interference, thereby producing a filtered IF signal that is converted to a digital signal with an analog-to-digital converter that is clocked with the sampling clock frequency; and a radar processor that processes the digital signal to generate a range spectrum comprising N segments that correspond, respectively, to the N RF-encoded transmit signals.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method for safe and exact ascertaining of fill level of a fill substance located in a container by means of an ultrasonic, or radar-based, fill level measuring device. In such case, the method is distinguished by the feature that the evaluation curve created based on the reflected received signal is differently greatly smoothed as a function of measured distance. To achieve this, the evaluation curve can be specially filtered, depending on the application. In this way, noise fractions and disturbance echoes can be efficiently suppressed, without unnecessarily limiting the accuracy of the fill level measurement.

A computer implemented method comprises receiving, with one or more receivers of RADAR sensors, environment receive RF responses, receiving region of interest (ROI) information including segments of a tentative set of ROIs with free space area boundaries from an image processor of an image processing chain for the computer vision, dynamically determining a number of polyphase filters based on a number of ROIs having dynamic scenes that are provided by the image processing chain, and adjusting parameters of the polyphase filters of a RADAR processing chain based on the ROI information.

The gain layer, the gradient layer, and the absorption layer are located between the buffer layer and the diffusion barrier layer. The gain layer includes at least two gain units, and the gain units are arranged in a stacked manner. Each of the gain units includes a multiplication layer and a charge layer that are arranged vertically. A distance between the charge layer and the gradient layer is less than a distance between the multiplication layer and the gradient layer.

摘要: Motion detection apparatuses are disclosed. The motion detection may be performed using one or more of a sub-window of a predetermined time window, a predetermined threshold value that is settable responsive to changes in one or more environmental factors, or a detection trigger. An apparatus includes a processor and an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) circuitry to sample a reflected predetermined pattern signal to generate reflected predetermined pattern samples. The processor captures collections of the reflected predetermined pattern samples corresponding to a predetermined time window and determines a sum of the collections or sub-collections. The processor determines an average of magnitudes of the determined sum and determines that a moving object is detected responsive to a predetermined threshold value.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for learning radio frequency pulses transmitted at various frequencies in a wireless environment, including false radar signals and actual radar. For example, the system can keep a list of radio frequency pulse characteristics detected by access points (APs) but ignored when not declared a radar. The detected radio frequency pulse can be compared with those on the list and may be added to the deny-list if not radar. The AP learns what intervals are normal for the communication environment and if the noise someday looks like a real radar (but it not actually a radar), it will not be classified as radar because it is on the deny-list.

摘要: A noise-mitigated continuous-wave frequency-modulated radar includes, for example, a transmitter for generating a radar signal, a receiver for receiving a reflected radar signal and comprising a mixer for generating a baseband signal in response to the received radar signal and in response to a local oscillator (LO) signal, and a signal shifter coupled to at least one of the transmitter, LO input of the mixer in the receiver and the baseband signal generated by the mixer. The impact of amplitude noise or phase noise associated with interferers, namely, for example, strong reflections from nearby objects, and electromagnetic coupling from transmit antenna to receive antenna, on the detection of other surrounding objects is reduced by configuring the signal shifter in response to an interferer frequency and phase offset.
