    摘要: A transmitting array antenna includes a second antenna group placed in a position inside a first antenna group in a first direction and a position different from the first antenna group in a second direction. A receiving array antenna includes a fourth antenna placed in a position outside a third antenna group arranged in the first direction and a position different from the third antenna group in the second direction. An interelement spacing between a receiving antenna of the third antenna group located at an end on a second side is identical to an interelement spacing in the first direction between a transmitting antenna of the first antenna group on the first side and each of the second antenna group. In a case where the first antenna group and the third antenna group are identical in position in the second direction, positions of antennas are different.

    摘要: A transmission sequence generated by a first sector radar is a sequence obtained by multiplying a predetermined code sequence by a first orthogonalized code, and a transmission sequence generated by a second sector radar is a sequence obtained by multiplying a predetermined code sequence by a second orthogonalized code. A value obtained by multiplication of the ith element of the first orthogonalized code and the ith element of the second orthogonalized code is equal to the ith element of a fundamental sequence VV_2n having a length of 2n (n is an integer greater than or equal to 1). The fundamental sequence VV_2n includes a sub fundamental sequence VV_2(n−1) having a length of n and satisfies VV_2n={VV_2(n−1), −VV_2(n−1)} or {−VV_2(n−1), VV_2(n−1)}.

    摘要: A radar transmitting unit Tx transmits a radio-frequency radar transmission signal from a transmission antenna which is inclined in the direction of a depression angle φ. A radar receiving unit Rx estimates the height and speed of a vehicle which travels on a road surface using a reflected wave signal from the vehicle. A template generating unit 19 generates a variation in a phase component of the reflected wave signal corresponding to N heights and speeds of the vehicle as N templates. N vehicle height/speed template correlation calculation units #1 to #Nrep calculate correlation on the basis of any one of the N templates and a correlation value between the reflected wave signal and a transmission code of the radar transmission signal.

    摘要: A pulse transmission controller generates transmission timing signals for a high-frequency radar transmission signal in every transmission cycle. A transmission phase shifter gives a transmission signal generated by a modulator phase shifts each corresponding to a transmission cycle on the basis of the transmission timing signals generated at intervals that are equal to the transmission cycle. A reception phase shifter gives a reception signal that is output from an A/D converter reception phase shifts that are opposite in direction to the respective transmission phase shifts given by the transmission phase shifter on the basis of the transmission timing signals generated at intervals that are equal to the transmission cycle.

The 2(N+1) first orthogonal code sequences and the 2(N+1) second orthogonal code sequences used in the respective sector radars are orthogonal over transmission periods of M multiples of 2(N+1), where M is an integer of 2 or greater.
