摘要: An aerial image formation device 10 comprising two light control panels 28 each including a molding 21 being produced by using a transparent resin, the molding 21 including, on one surface side thereof, a plurality of straight grooves 18 disposed in parallel at a predetermined interval. The straight grooves 18 each have a trapezoidal cross section and expand on the one surface side of the molding 21, with one side surface serving as the vertical surface 16. In each of the two light control panels 28, an inner surface of each of the straight grooves 18 is covered with a light reflecting material 25 and an anti-reflection layer 27 is formed on a surface of the light reflecting material 25.

摘要: The present invention provides an artificial fireplace for displaying an artificial fire pattern. The fireplace comprises a housing, defining an interior and comprising at least one opening to allow a line of sight into the interior, a semi-transparent mirror, which is arranged in the interior and which comprises a first side, facing the opening, and an opposite second side, facing away from the opening. The fireplace further comprises a first display device, which is arranged in the housing and which is configured to display a first video of flames, towards the first side of the semi-transparent mirror, and a second display device, which is arranged in the housing and which is configured to display a second video towards the second side of the semi-transparent mirror. The semi-transparent mirror is arranged to at least partially reflect the first video of flames at its first side and to at least partially transmit the second video at its second side, in order to recombine the first video of flames and the second video into the artificial fire pattern, such that the artificial fire pattern is visible along the line of sight.

The first polarization selective reflector is arranged to receive light from the first laser and reflect light received from the first laser at a first angle to the scanning mirror, and the second polarization selective reflector is arranged to receive light from the second laser and reflect light received from the second laser at a second angle to the scanning mirror. The augmented reality glasses can also have an eyepiece having an input coupling port arranged to receive light reflected by the scanning mirror.

The method further includes reflecting, using the second polarization selective reflector, light from the second laser at a second angle to the scanning mirror, receiving light reflected by the scanning mirror at an input coupling port of the eyepiece waveguide, and projecting the image from an output port of the eyepiece waveguide.
