    摘要: A system, method, and program route system components, such as repair parts for products in the field, to various locations. A component may be routed via a first route to a first location associated with a first customer from a central warehouse. A determination may be made after a servicing action at the first location as to whether the component remains in working condition. Subsequently, a second route may be automatically determined that will route the component directly to a second location from the first location based upon whether the component remains in working condition. If the component remains in working condition, the component may be routed from the first location directly to a second location associated with a second customer. On the other hand, if the component no longer remains in working condition, the component may be routed from the first location directly to a repair facility.

    摘要: A machine can be accessed and controlled with the help of an interface device. The customizable interface device contains device elements that define features relating to the external representation and internal functionality of the interface device, as linked to one or more machines. An operator can use a configuration station to implement single or reoccurring queries that interact with the interface device and corresponding machines. In particular, the queries target the configuration of device elements in the interface device. The process can include temporarily unloading unused features from active memory and mirroring property changes initialized by a source. An emulator can assist in the configuration process by providing a preliminary software representation of the interface device hardware. A user can develop, test, and reconfigure functions on the emulator before loading the finalized platform to the interface device.

    摘要: In accordance with teachings of the present disclosure, a method, system and facility are described for controlling resource allocation within a build to order manufacturing environment. A system for providing a control center for a manufacturing facility is disclosed. The system includes a plurality of information sources operably associated with manufacturing products within the manufacturing facility. A user interface of the system displays selective information associated with portions of the manufacturing facility within a control center operable to manage production within the manufacturing facility. The system further includes a resource allocator operably coupled to the control center and the plurality of information sources and the resource allocator is operable to monitor work in process within the manufacturing facility.
