An out-of-round hole machining device, which carries out inner diameter machining for a bore in a cast cylinder block includes the following: a stress deformation amount correspondence table that stores, for each portion of the cylinder block, a stress deformation amount based on stress that resides in the cylinder block during casting; a machining shape prediction section that predicts the machining shape on the basis of the stress deformation amount read from the stress deformation amount correspondence table; and a motor control unit that reverses the predicted machining shape with respect to a target shape and carries out reverse machining on a workpiece.

In a case where the registered hole type is designated by a keyboard (14) in the creation of NC data for hole machining, an automatic programming unit (11) causes a dialog screen conforming to the hole type to be displayed on a CRT (13). Hole shape dimensions and tools used in each machining process are specified, and NC data for hole machining is created based on this data.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a datum selection method for minimizing hole position errors in group hole machining of large components, comprising: 1) determining a type of a computer numerical control (CNC) machine tool and establishing a topological structure of the CNC machine tool; 2) establishing a theoretical postural model of a tool center point during a motion; 3) establishing a hole position error model; 4) establishing an average error model of hole positions in group hole machining; and 5) obtaining a machining datum for group holes of corresponding components. For the skeleton and skinned group hole machining of aircraft components, different principles of datum selection are provided respectively, which can effectively improve the positional accuracy of the skeleton or skinned group hole machining, at the same time provides a more scientific and reasonable approach for the datum selection in group hole machining of large components.

A measurement/correction system for use in machining an inclined slide core hole includes means for executing a measurement program which, after machining of an intermediate pocket hole in a mold surface, measures the position of the center of a rod hole in a seating surface of the intermediate pocket and the position of the seating surface of the intermediate pocket. Arithmetic means calculates the coordinates of an actual reference point of the rod hole from the measurements. Correction means compares the measured position of the reference point with the reference point previously set in a machining program, and, if there is an error, rewrites the coordinates of the reference point in the program to the measured coordinates. The corrected machining program is executed with the rewritten reference point in order to carry out machining of the core pocket while expanding the intermediate pocket.

The method for machining an inclined slide core hole, comprised of a core pocket and a rod hole, in a mold as a workpiece by means of a five-axis machine tool having, in addition to X-axis, Y-axis and Z-axis, an A-axis for pivoting of a spindle head and a C-axis for rotation of a table, includes the steps of: pivoting the spindle head to meet the inclination angle of the slide core hole to be machined in the mold, and fixing the A-axis angle; spot-facing a shallow flat-bottomed spot-faced hole in the surface of the mold by using an end mill as a tool; drilling a guide hole in the bottom surface of the spot-faced hole by using a drill or a reamer as a tool; drilling said rod hole by using a gun drill as a tool with the guide hole as a guide for the gun drill; carrying out, as pre-machining before machining of said core pocket, shaping machining to form an intermediate pocket hole while expanding the spot-faced hole by using an end mill as a tool; correcting a reference point for use as a reference in machining of the core pocket based on measurement of the shape of the intermediate pocket; and executing a corrected machining program with the corrected reference point to carry out precision shaping machining of the core pocket while expanding the intermediate pocket by using an end mill as a tool.

Second offset data is computed for the set of existing holes using the second sensor data.
