摘要: A method of positioning a part includes the steps of reciprocatingly moving a part between two end positions by a drive, generating a control signal for the drive upon reaching the end positions, stopping the drive or changing a drive direction of the drive upon receipt of the control signal; detecting a position of the drive after a first reaching of at least one of the end positions by the part, storing the detected position of the drive, and during further approaches of the end positions by the part, stopping the drive or changing the drive direction before reaching the end positions. After a selectable number of approaches of the part to at least one of the end positions the drive is stopped only when the end position is reached and the position of the drive is detected and stored once again.

摘要: A method for determining the position of an element drivable by a motor within a travel segment between first and second positions. The method includes energizing a motor to drive the element along the travel segment. Current ripples contained in an armature current signal of the motor are counted as the motor drives the element. The position of the element along the travel segment is determined as a function of the counted current ripples. The motor is de-energized once the position of the element is within a certain distance of the first position if the element is to be driven into the first position. The motor is then re-energized to drive the element into the first position. The counted current ripples is set to a reset value after the element has been driven into the first position such that the reset value corresponds to the first position.

摘要: Methods for operating an actuator including providing a position sensor and using the position sensor to provide end-stop functionality for the actuator. The actuator may have a motor controlled by control circuitry, with the control circuitry reading a variable from a position sensor to determine when the motor should be deactivated due to an associated actuated part reaching a motion limit. Also, actuators including a position sensor, a motor, and control circuitry. The control circuitry may take an output from the position sensor and use the position sensor output to determine when to shut off the electric motor due to its encountering a motion limit, providing end stop functionality with reduced complexity and wear. Further embodiments include HVAC dampers and valves for use in controlling gas, steam, water, or other liquid or fluid flow.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for contactless approach of a lower stop position of a motor vehicle window pane operated by extraneous force using a sensor device which during lowering of the window pane generates path-dependent signals and forwards them to an electronic evaluation unit in which the sensor signals are counted. During two separate phases (A) and (B) system deficiencies of a window raising mechanism are compensated and the pane is lowered. On reaching a certain counting state which lies in front of the position of the fixed contactless stop, a drive is switched off. The first phase (A) and the second phase (B) of the adjustment movement of the drive are separated by a boundary value (2) which reflects a system state of window winding raising mechanism so that the sensor signals of the first phase (A) can be associated with compensating cable slack and the sensor signals of the second phase (B) can be associated with the actual movement of the window. For determining the slowing-down path of the window pane which is to be expected the operating voltage of the drive is used in addition to the lowering speed of the window.

摘要: A motor stopping circuit is activated when a motor control circuit is stopped by a reset signal outputted from a reset circuit. This maintains an overrun angle small. As a result, a difference between a rotation angles measured when the motor control circuit is turned off and measured when the motor control circuit is turned on are small. Therefore, frequent origin setting operation is not required. This reduces sizes and manufacturing costs of a stopper and an actuator.
