摘要: This disclosure relates to systems, methods, and devices that can identify products on a shelf, and determine item descriptions and pricing from associated labels. In one embodiment, an image processing system for providing an indication about shelf label accuracy in a store is provided. The image processing system comprises at least one processor configured to receive, from a hand-held device, an image depicting products on store shelves, and associated labels coupled to the store shelves. The processor can be configured to process the image to identify at least some of the products and to access a database to determine associated product ID numbers. The processor can be further configured to determine product identifier and displayed price from the associated labels. The processor can also be configured to determine one or more product-label mismatches related to incorrect product placement on the shelf and to provide electronic notification of the mismatches.

摘要: There is provided a method of identifying objects in an image, comprising: extracting query descriptors from the image, comparing each query descriptor with training descriptors for identifying matching training descriptors, each training descriptor is associated with a reference object identifier and with relative location data (distance and direction from a center point of a reference object indicated by the reference object identifier), computing object-regions of the digital image by clustering the query descriptors having common center points defined by the matching training descriptors, each object-region approximately bounding one target object and associated with a center point and a scale relative to a reference object size, wherein the object-regions are computed independently of the identifier of the reference object associated with the object-regions, wherein members of each cluster point toward a common center point, and classifying the target object of each object-region according to the reference object identifier of the cluster.

摘要: The present invention relates to a remote control apparatus which can remotely control multiple devices. A remote control apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a key input unit having multiple keys; a reception unit for receiving at least one device identification signal from at least one device or a transmission device corresponding to the device; a processor for detecting an identification signal for a device, which can be remotely controlled, from the at least one received device identification signal, and matching at least one of the multiple keys to a control command for the remote control of the device, on the basis of the detected identification signal; and a transmission unit for transmitting a signal corresponding to the control command when the key matched to the control command is selected. Accordingly, the present invention can remotely control multiple devices.

In one implementation, the methods and systems to which the current document is directed carry out an initial processing step on one or more scanned images to identify a subset of the total number of symbols frequently used in the scanned document image or images. One or more lists of graphemes for the language of the text are then ordered in most-likely-occurring to least-likely-occurring order to facilitate a second optical-character-recognition step in which symbol images extracted from the one or more scanned-document images are associated with one or more graphemes most likely to correspond to the scanned symbol image.

Disclosed example apparatus include a scene detector to compare a signature of a detected scene of a media presentation with a library of signatures to identify a first reference scene, and a scene classifier to classify the detected scene as a scene of changed interest when a first region of interest in the detected scene does not include a first reference brand identifier included in a corresponding region of interest in the first reference scene. Disclosed example apparatus further include a graphical user interface to present the detected scene, prompt for selection of an area of the first region of interest in the detected scene, and compare the selected area to a library of reference brand identifiers to identify a second reference brand identifier included in the first region of interest in the detected scene.

The computing system enables a selection of the displayed representative image for association of the identified visual media file with the electronic content.
