    摘要: Plural key-displaying elements are provided in corresponding relation to plural keys. A series of performance information is divided into plural phrases, namely sections, and for each of the phrases, the displays corresponding to keys to be performed within the phrase are together lit, so as to guide a player about keys to be depressed. There is provided a phrase dividing device or program for automatically dividing a series of performance information into phrases on the basis of the contents of the information, so that a phrase-by-phrase key-depression instructing display can be effected. All the displaying elements corresponding to keys to be depressed within a phrase are lit, and as the performance progresses, the displaying element corresponding to each of the keys to be next depressed is changed from the lit state over to a blinking state. Key-depression instructing display for keys to be performed in a next phrase may be initiated at appropriate timing when the instructing display is being effected for the current phrase. In such a case, the displaying state may be sequentially changed from a specific key in the current phrase to another specific key in the next phrase. The phrase dividing operation may be performed appropriately in accordance with any of various determination criteria such as tone pitch information and other performance information, or in response to an operational state of a pedal operator.

The input audio includes notes, comments or the like uttered by a human player or an instructor. During recording of the input audio is received a user input designating a desired time position on the musical score displayed on the display device. A recording time of the input audio based on a time point at which the user input has been received and the time position on the musical score designated by the user input are stored into a storage device in association with each other. An icon is displayed in association with the time position on the musical score designated by the user input. Once the icon is selected, voice based on the recording time recorded in association with the icon is reproduced to sound the comments, etc.

    摘要: A method for transcoding music, according to various aspects of the present invention, includes in any practical order: (a) reading pitches and respective durations; (b) reading indicia of a quantity of beats per measure; (c) determining a word for each beat wherein: each word has one or more syllables, each syllable is associated with each pitch having duration that is within the duration of the beat; each syllable for a pitch, when preceded by a rest, comprises an initial consonant selected from the set consisting of ‘d’ and ‘t’; and each syllable comprises a vowel corresponding to an ordinal of the beat, wherein the vowel is selected from a set of vowels in accordance with the respective duration of the pitch associated with the syllable; and (d) outputting, for use by a music engraving engine, indicia of the pitches and words, in a manner that each syllable will be engraved in vertical alignment with the indicia of the associated pitch.

    摘要: A mounting bracket for supporting a key movement recording sensor assembly within a keyboard-operated musical instrument. The mounting bracket of the present invention incorporates a locking mechanism to prevent sensor assembly movement and it preferably conforms to a portion of the hammer flange assembly to reduce vertical space requirements. The locking mechanism, or alternatively the sensor board itself, provides a biasing force for engaging the sensor assembly. Applying a sufficient manual force to a release member on the locking mechanism overcomes the biasing force to unlock the sensor assembly to allow for the insertion, adjustment, or removal of the sensor assembly from the mounting bracket. A keyed retention mechanism augments the sensor assembly to simplify engagement and adjustment of the sensor assembly.

    摘要: An extruded recording sensor mounting rail for keyboard operated musical instruments, particularly electronic player pianos, which can be used to install recording sensors in a new or existing piano. First and second flanges extend longitudinally along the front and rear of the mounting rail, and a shelf is provided on each flange, with the shelves configured for receiving and supporting a circuit board in a sensor assembly. Each flange includes an outward facing lip which extends longitudinally along the flange. One or more clips each include flanges which fit over the outward facing lips and retain the sensor board on the mounting rail.
