    摘要: An active sound damper for compensating interference noise radiated by an interference noise source through a radiation opening of the interference source. The radiation opening of the interference noise source defines a radiation plane and has a center. The sound damper includes a speaker for radiating compensation sound for reciprocally effecting one of a weakening and a cancelling of the interference noise by interfering with the interference noise, the speaker having a speaker cone and defining a longitudinal axis. The speaker is further adapted to be mounted on the radiation opening such that its longitudinal axis is disposed to transversely intersect the radiation plane at the center of the radiation opening and such that the speaker cone radially surrounds the radiation opening.

    摘要: A multi-channel active acoustic attenuation system for attenuating a correlated input acoustic wave has one or more output transducers introducing one or more respective canceling acoustic waves to attenuate the input acoustic wave and yield an attenuated output acoustic wave, one or more error transducers sensing the output acoustic wave and providing one or more error signals, and a plurality of adaptive filter channel models. Each channel model has a model input from a respective error transducer. One or more of the channel models also has a model input from at least one of the remaining channel models. Each channel model has an error input from one or more of the error transducers. Each channel model has a model output outputting a correction signal to a respective output transducer to introduce the respective canceling acoustic wave. The correction signal from one or more of the model outputs is also input to the model input of one or more of the remaining channel models.

    摘要: An air permeable sound grating for sound shielding. The grating consists of, or includes, volume changing elements which are controlled by properly positioned means, such as a microphone orientated toward the noise source, to effect change in volume of an adjacent noise transmitting medium, such as air, to effect such a anticyclic change in volume as to cause interference attenuation of the sound at the side of the grating facing away from the noise source. Such volume changing elements are spaced apart a distance less than the wavelength of the highest frequency sound to be shielded and may comprise a variety of means such as spaced heating wires, conductive coating upon a thermal and electrically insulating base, a closed capsule with membrane surfaces having vibration generating means operatively associated with said membrane, radiation generating means for discharging medium heating radiation of energy into the sound transmitting medium together with controls and reflectors for directing the volume changing means or energy to the desired zone to be shielded.
