摘要: A motion-enable device includes a mechanical switch and a capacitive sensor with a sensing region that is located adjacent to the mechanical switch. The mechanical switch enables a first signal when closed or actuated that indicates that the mechanical switch is in an active state. The capacitive sensor enables a second signal when a conductive object is disposed in the sensing region, where the second signal indicates that the capacitive sensor is in an active state. Enablement of operation of an apparatus depends on receipt of both the first signal and the second signal. The mechanical switch and the capacitive sensor act as the two separate switches required by functional safety requirements for a motion enable device. Because the sensing region of the capacitive sensor is adjacent to the mechanical switch, the first and second signals are generated when an operator actuates the mechanical switch with a single digit.

摘要: A keyswitch structure includes a base, a keycap, a lift mechanism and a light-emitting part. The lift mechanism includes a first support, a second support, and a spring structure. The first support and the second support are connected to and between the base and the keycap, so that the keycap can move relative to the base in a vertical direction. The spring structure is a single structural part and is connected to the first support and the second support and drives the first support and the second support to lift the keycap in the vertical direction. The lift mechanism as a whole defines a central space that extends through the whole lift mechanism in the vertical direction. The spring structure does not enter the central space. The light-emitting part is disposed on the base corresponding to the central zone, and emits light to illuminate the keycap.

摘要: A wireless switch includes a cover member, a button member, a first plunger, a second plunger, a trigger spring, a return spring, a shaft, a housing, and a power generation module. An intermediate member constituted of the first plunger, the second plunger, the trigger spring, the return spring, and the shaft is connected between the button member and the power generation module. The intermediate member prevents a position of the shaft making contact with the power generating shaft of the power generation module from changing, and causes stress to build up in the trigger spring, until a movement distance of the button member reaches a predetermined distance. The intermediate member releases the stress built up in the trigger spring and pushes the power generation shaft with the shaft using the released stress upon the movement distance of the button member reaching the predetermined distance.

The notification unit is configured to operate using power generated by the power generation module. The RF module controls the notification unit in one or more notification states according to a strength or details of a reception state signal corresponding to the transmitted switch signal.

摘要: A light-transmissible keycap and the manufacturing method thereof are provided. The light-transmissible keycap has multiple light-transmissible symbol areas, and each light-transmissible symbol area has at least one character assigned with a color. Each light-transmissible symbol area is covered with only one light-transmissible color layer. Thus, when an external light is emitted from a light source beneath the keycap, the external light will only pass through one light-transmissible color layer covering that light-transmissible symbol area, and not pass through the light-transmissible color layer covering the other light-transmissible symbol area. Therefore, a bleeding problem due to multiple light-transmissible color layers overlapped and covering the same light-transmissible symbol area is avoided.

The keycap includes first passageways extending between first openings in a first surface of the keycap and first openings in a second surface of the keycap. The keycap includes second passageways extending between second openings in the first surface of the keycap and second openings in the second surface of the keycap. A first light source is positioned at a first location to allow light to pass through the keycap via the first passageways and inhibit light from passing through the keycap via the second passageways. A second light source is positioned at a second location to allow light to pass through the keycap via the second passageways and inhibit light from passing through the keycap via the first passageways.

摘要: Illumination color for a dedicated legend display area of an illuminated pushbutton switch may be programmed by controlling application of the driving voltage to one of two or more different groups of interleaved LEDs alternately illuminating the display area. Each of the different LED groups illuminates the display area with a different color, produced by different color LEDs, filtering of individual LEDs within each group, or dip-coating the LEDs. Application of the driving voltage to different switch input pins causes the legend to be illuminated by different LED groups in different colors, reflecting different conditions.

摘要: A conventional light plate for a systems control panel is mounted on a machined front plate which, in turn, is maintained a predetermined uniform distance from a front printed wiring assembly (PWA). A plurality of systems control devices including one or more of switches (toggle switches, rotary switches, push button switches), rheostats and annunciators are mounted on the front plate and front PWA. Each of the systems control devices has one or more solid state elements mounted on the PWA. For example, the switches carry small magnets which, by manipulation of operating switch levers or knobs, move into and out of close proximity to magnet sensitive switching devices mounted on the front PWA.
