    摘要: The invention discloses a short circuit current hierarchical control tripping parameter circuit breaker. According to the invention, resistance of an alloy magnetic resistance body is changed through circuit current, and contract control can be carried out on short-circuit current. The control range of the circuit breaker can achieve that no magnetic resistance will be generated when current is no more than 8 times of rated operational current, and current limiting may be realized by the magnetic resistance when current is 8 times more than rated value. In this way, hierarchical control on short-circuit current of different levels of circuits can be carried out, and short-circuit current can be limited in a predetermined range, thereby restricting the short-circuit current in a predetermined range, solving a problem of power supply flickering, and avoiding large-area power failure accidents caused by override trip existing in an electrical control switch.

    摘要: The invention discloses a short circuit current hierarchical control tripping parameter circuit breaker.     摘要: A commutating circuit breaker that progressively inserts increasing resistance into a circuit via physical motion of a shuttle that is linked into the circuit by at least one set of sliding electrical contacts on the shuttle that connect the power through the moving shuttle to a sequence of different resistive paths with increasing resistance; the motion of the shuttle can be either linear or rotary. At no point are the sliding stator electrodes separated from the matching stationary stator electrodes so as to generate a powerful arc, which minimizes damage to the sliding stator electrodes. Instead, the current is commutated from one resistive path to the next with small enough changes in resistance at each step that arcing is suppressed. The variable resistance can either be within the moving shuttle, or the shuttle can comprise a commutating shuttle that moves the current over a series of stationary resistors.

    摘要: A varistor quenched arc chute for current limiting circuit interrupters utilizes the combination of a plurality of stacked metal plates for attracting the arc that forms upon separation of the current limiting contacts with interspersed varistor elements for dissipating the system stored energy. The number of metal plates and the clamping voltage of the varistors is adjusted for optimum arc de-ionization. After arc extinction, the metal plates serve as cooling fins for the varistors.
