    摘要: In an overload relay, a tripping actuator 12 has a first magnet 18 and a moveable contact carrier 20 has a second magnet 28 mounted opposed to the first magnet. A moveable contact 22 on the moveable contact carrier is urged by repulsion between the magnets, to make a normally closed connection with a stationary contact 24, when the tripping actuator is in an ON position 15 and the contact carrier in a first stable position 26′. The magnets pass through an over-center tripping position (T) when the tripping actuator is moved to an OFF position 23 in response to an overcurrent condition sensed by a bimetallic thermal overload sensor 16. The magnets repel each other after passing through the over-center tripping position, to thereby urge the moveable contact into a second stable position 26, away from the stationary contact, to break the normally closed connection with the stationary contact.

The switch lever may also be activated remotely by a remote actuator, for example, a solenoid. A manual reset mechanism is provided so that, actuation of which, when power has been lost to the remote actuator when the remote actuator is in the off position, moves the remote actuator to the on position, thereby resetting the circuit to the closed state.

    摘要: A switching device is provided that includes a switching mechanism unit and a switch drive control circuit. In the switching device, an operating member is maintained in an ON position by the sucking force of a permanent magnet and a yoke, despite the pushing force of a biasing unit, when the permanent magnet is in an ON position. The yoke is magnetized in such a manner as to reduce the magnetic force of the permanent magnet, when a coil wound around the yoke is energized by the switch drive control unit. The operating member and a switching member are moved from the ON position to the OFF position by virtue of the pushing force of the biasing unit, thereby shutting a feed line.

The trip actuator includes a U-shaped stator with a permanent magnet at the end of one leg. A spring-loaded armature member extends across both legs to form a closed-loop magnetic circuit.     摘要: A combination motor-starter circuit breaker comprising a single set of separable contacts and providing the function of motor starting, circuit interruption, and current limiting. The combination employs three separate means for separating the contacts to provide these functions; a solenoid, an overcurrent trip mechanism, and a magnetic drive device for high overcurrent conditions. Arc rails and spaced conductive plates are provided to aid in extinguishing any arcs established. Movable contacts are mounted on a bridging contact arm which can be provided with two open positions, a first position for use during motor control wherein the contacts are separated by a relatively small distance and a second position for use during circuit interruption and current limiting.

It comprises a polarized relay having a spring-biased armature rotatable to trip a conventional circuit breaker toggle.
