摘要: The organic semiconductor polymers relates to the synthesis of a carbazole-based ladder polymer. The synthesis of the ladder polymer includes forming a precursor conjugated polymer by Suzuki step growth polymerization of 2,7-dibromocarbazole with 1,4-dibromo-2,5-divinylbenzene, followed by end capping with 2-bromostyrene and 2-vinyl-phenylboronic acid. Then, the pendent vinyl groups are closed by ring-closing olefin metathesis to obtain the ladder polymer.

摘要: The present invention relates to a class of luminescent and conductive polymer compositions having chromophores, and particularly solid films of these compositions exhibiting increased luminescent lifetimes, quantum yields and amplified emissions. These desirable properties can be provided through polymers having rigid groups designed to prevent polymer reorganization, aggregation or π-stacking upon solidification. These polymers can also display an unusually high stability with respect to solvent and heat exposures. The invention also relates to a sensor and a method for sensing an analyte through the luminescent and conductive properties of these polymers. Analytes can be sensed by activation of a chromophore at a polymer surface. Analytes include aromatics, phosphate ester groups and in particular explosives and chemical warfare agents in a gaseous state. The present invention also relates to devices and methods for amplifying emissions by incorporating a polymer having an energy migration pathway and/or providing the polymer as a block co-polymer or as a multi-layer.

摘要: Provided is a photovoltaic device with an organic buffer layer for efficiency improvement. The photovoltaic device includes a first electrode and a second electrode disposed opposite to each other, a photoactive layer disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode, and a buffer layer disposed between the photoactive layer and the second electrode. The buffer layer includes a compound including an aromatic organic cation and an anion in a quantity ranging from 30 wt % to 100 wt %, more preferably 50 wt % to 100 wt % with respect to the entire weight of the buffer layer.
