The silicon-containing polymer including at least either a polysiloxane chain or oligosiloxane chain or a polysilane chain or oligosilane chain in the molecular chain thereof has a group that has e.g., a carboxy or carboxylic acid ester group and a sulfide group, introduced to the molecular chain as a result of an ene-thiol reaction.

摘要: Provided herein is a method of coating a surface. A silicon-based coating composition is coated onto a surface. The composition comprises 5% to 80% polysilazane, 20% to 60% polysiloxane, and polysilane of a formula (R1R2Si)n, wherein n is greater than 1, and wherein R1 and R2 are the same or different and are chosen from alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, alkylamino, aryl, aralkyl, or alkylsilyl, which polysilane has a weight average molecular weight of more than 50,000, and optionally organic solvent. The coating is cured ambiently to provide a non-ceramic clear coating having a thickness ranging between 0.1 mil and 1.5 mil, a hardness ranging between 2H and 9H in accordance with ASTM 3363 for film hardness by pencil test, and a kinetic coefficient of friction between 0.03 and 0.04. Also provided are silicon-based coating compositions and cured coatings from those compositions using the provided method.

摘要: A method for preparing a reaction product including an aryl-functional silane includes sequential steps (1) and (2). Step (1) is contacting, under silicon deposition conditions, (A) an ingredient including (I) a halosilane such as silicon tetrahalide and optionally (II) hydrogen (H2); and (B) a metal combination comprising copper (Cu) and at least one other metal, where the at least one other metal is selected from the group consisting of gold (Au), cobalt (Co), chromium (Cr), iron (Fe), magnesium (Mg), manganese (Mn), nickel (Ni), palladium (Pd), and silver (Ag); thereby forming a silicon alloy catalyst comprising Si, Cu and the at least one other metal. Step (2) is contacting the silicon alloy catalyst and (C) a reactant including an aryl halide under silicon etching conditions.

摘要: The present invention provides: a method for producing particles of an element having a standard electrode potential greater than 0V, characterized by using in a protic solvent solution a polysilane having a poor solubility in an aprotic solvent, to produce particles of the element from ions of at least one element having a standard electrode potential greater than 0V; and a composite body of polysilane and the particles of an element having a standard electrode potential greater than 0V, in which the particles of the at least one element having a standard electrode potential greater than 0V (provided that palladium is not included in the element, in the case where the polysilane is a dimethyl polysilane) are adsorbed in the polysilane having poor solubility in an aprotic solvent.

摘要: Disclosed is modified hydrogenated polysiloxazane prepared by reacting hydrogenated polysiloxazane with a silane compound selected from polysilane, polycyclosilane, and a silane oligomer. The modified hydrogenated polysiloxazane has a small mole ratio of nitrogen atoms relative to silicon atoms and may remarkably deteriorate a film shrinkage ratio when included in a composition for forming a silica-based insulation layer to form a silica-based insulation layer.

摘要: A catalyst system comprising a combination of: 1) an activator; 2) one or more metallocene catalyst compounds; 3) a support comprising an organosilica material, which is a mesoporous organosilica material. The organosilica material is a polymer of at least one monomer of Formula [Z1OZ2 SiCh2]3(i), where Z1 represents a hydrogen atom, a C1-C4 alkyl group, or a bond to a silic-on atom of another monomer and Z2 represents a hydroxyl group, a C1-C4alkoxy group, a C1-C6 salkyl group, or an oxygen atom bonded to a silicon atom of another monomer. This invention further relates to processes to polymerize olefins comprising contacting one or more olefins with the above catalyst system.

摘要: A method of producing a silicon hydride oxide-containing organic solvent (coating solution) is provided with which a silicon hydride oxide coating film can be formed on a substrate. Using the silicon hydride oxide-containing organic solvent makes it unnecessary to place a coating solution in non-oxidizing atmosphere at the time of coating or to heat the substrate after coating because the silicon hydride oxide is formed in the coating solution before it is coated. The method includes blowing an oxygen-containing gas through an organic solvent containing a silicon hydride or a polymer thereof. The silicon hydride oxide may contain a proportion of (residual Si—H groups)/(Si—H groups before oxidation) of 1 to 40 mol %. The silicon hydride can be obtained by reacting a cyclic silane with a hydrogen halide in the presence of an aluminum halide, and reducing the obtained cyclic halosilane.
