摘要: An electrode assembly, a secondary battery, a battery pack, and an electrical apparatus. In the electrode assembly, there are several electrode plate portions sequentially arranged in a laminated manner along its own thickness direction. During structural design, the current collector in at least one of the electrode plate portions is configured as a barrier, and by controlling the ratio between the thermal conductivity λ0 of the barrier and the thickness d0 of the barrier to be less than 3×107 W/(K*m2), the heat flux density of the barrier along the thickness direction of the electrode assembly is reduced and the thermal resistance is increased, thus forming an effective thermal barrier in the thickness direction of the electrode assembly.

The separator has a high tensile strength and an elongation at break and good heat resistance, and may improve the safety performance of the energy storage device when the separator is applied to the energy storage device.

摘要: The present disclosure includes systems, devices, and methods for operating a battery. The battery includes a power unit having a first electrode coupled to a first current collector and a second electrode. The first current collector is coupled to a first conductive member. The battery further includes a separator having a first portion interposed between the first electrode and the second electrode and a second portion positioned between the second electrode and the first conductive member. In some aspects, the second portion of the separator is configured to break responsive to receipt of a force to the battery to discharge the power unit safely without thermal runaway and catastrophic damage.

The coating layer includes organic particles and inorganic particles, the organic particles include first-type organic particles, the inorganic particles form an inorganic particle layer, and the first-type organic particles are embedded into the inorganic particle layer and form bulges on a surface of the inorganic particle layer. A number-based median particle size of the first-type organic particles is ≥12 μm, and a ratio of an average height of the bulges to a thickness of the inorganic particle layer is ≥4. This application further relates to a separator preparation method, a secondary battery containing such separator, and a related battery module, battery pack, and apparatus.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a crosslinked structure-containing polyolefin porous support which includes a crosslinked structure including polymer chains interconnected directly with one another, has a shutdown temperature of 145° C. or less, causes no rupture after being exposed at 180° C. for 1 minute, and shows a ratio of the puncture strength after being exposed at 180° C. for 1 minute based on the puncture strength at 25° C. of 50-100%. The present disclosure also relates to a crosslinked structure-containing separator for a lithium secondary battery including the crosslinked structure-containing polyolefin porous support, a method for manufacturing the same, and a lithium secondary battery including the same.
