摘要: The disclosed invention relates to a method of realizing an oxygen laser oscillator. The laser oscillator relating to one aspect of the invention is provided with a laser cavity consisting of a high-reflectivity mirror (108) and a partial-reflectivity output mirror (107), a singlet oxygen generator (105), a focusing optics (109), and a shutter (113). Singlet oxygen (O2(1Δg)) is supplied to the chamber (102A) which is pumped beforehand by a vacuum pump. In order to produce a laser oscillation, the shutter (113) is pulled out so that the radiation from O2(1Δg) goes back and forth inside the laser cavity. This causes a stimulated emission from O2(1Δg), and a pulsed laser is extracted from the output mirror (107).

摘要: The invention relates to a gas liquid contactor and effluent cleaning system and method and more particularly to individually fed nozzle banks including an array of nozzles configured to produce uniformly spaced flat liquid jets shaped to minimize disruption from a gas. An embodiment of the invention is directed towards a gas liquid contactor having a plurality of modules including a liquid inlet and outlet and a gas inlet and outlet. An array of nozzles is in communication with the liquid inlet and the gas inlet. The array of nozzles is configured to produce uniformly spaced flat liquid jets shaped to minimize disruption from a gas flow and maximize gas flow and liquid flow interactions while rapidly replenishing the liquid.

An embodiment of the invention is directed towards a gas liquid contactor module including a liquid inlet and outlet and a gas inlet and outlet. An array of nozzles is in communication with the liquid inlet and the gas inlet. The array of nozzles is configured to produce uniformly spaced flat liquid jets shaped to minimize disruption from a gas flow and maximize gas flow and liquid flow interactions while rapidly replenishing the liquid.

摘要: A method and apparatus for producing molecular oxygen in the excited singlet delta oxygen electronic state for use as an excited species reactant in a chemical laser. Flowtubes defined by permeable membranes are used to mix the gas and liquid phase reactants to generate singlet delta oxygen and also to separate the generated singlet delta oxygen from the liquid phase products and reactants thereby eliminating liquid reactant carryover.
