摘要: A fixing structure of a wiring member includes: a wiring member including at least one wire-like transmission member; a heat generation layer provided to surround a periphery of the wiring member; an adherend to which the wiring member is fixed; and a joint layer provided on at least a portion between the heat generation layer and the adherend and a portion between the heat generation layer and the wiring member, wherein the heat generation layer is a layer which can generate heat by induction heating, the joint layer is a layer having bond properties by heat transmitted from the heat generation layer at a time of induction heating, and is joined to the heat generation layer and at least one of the adherend and the wiring member.

摘要: A cable with magnetic mounting assembly having a cover assembly, a magnet assembly, a cable support assembly, and a friction member. The cover assembly has a base wall, a lower lateral wall with lower cutouts, a concave face, and an upper lateral wall with upper cutouts. A hinge joins the lower lateral wall and the upper lateral wall. The magnet assembly has a magnet and a magnet support. The cable support assembly has first and second support spacers. The friction member has a ring base with elongated protrusions. When assembled, the cover assembly houses the cable support assembly, the magnet assembly, and the friction member. First and second support spacers define a cavity between them that aligns with holes defined by the lower and upper cutouts to receive a cable therethrough. The concave face is mounted onto any surface attracted to the magnet.

摘要: A powered wall mount includes a cover plate and a mount head in electrical communication with one another. The cover plate is configured to cover an electrical outlet in a wall without blocking any sockets. The cover plate includes a pair of resilient contacts that resiliently contact respective terminals of a pair of terminals of the electrical outlet upon mating of the cover plate with the electrical outlet. The mount head, which may be attached to the wall near the electrical outlet, includes a device mounting surface, at least one connector configured to hold a portable electronic device at the device mounting surface, and a power transfer mechanism configured to transfer power to the device when held at the device mounting surface. The connector(s) may be magnetic. Conveniently, the device may be attached to the mount head, used indefinitely while drawing power as needed, and then detached.

摘要: A binding structure for a band for a wire harness prevents displacement of a band fastening position. A band (10) has a belt-shaped band section (12) by which electrical wires (80) are bound. The band section (12) includes a winding portion (14) wound around an outer periphery of the electrical wires (80) bundled together in a manner that the winding portion (14) is shifted away from a binding start point in a forward direction along a lengthwise direction of the electrical wires, and a winding portion (15) intersecting with the winding portion (14) in the forward direction and wound around the outer periphery in a manner that the winding portion (15) is shifted toward the binding start point in a return direction opposite to the forward direction.

摘要: A system and method for installing a fiber or cable on a wall or ceiling of a structure includes providing a fiber, wire or cable pre-coated with a hot melt adhesive that simply needs to be activated by the application of sufficient heat for a sufficient amount of time immediately before installation. Rolls or cartridges of wire or cable pre-coated with the hot melt adhesive are provided. The hot melt adhesive coated wire or cable is fed through a heated chamber, preferably a tip on a portable heating device such as a battery operated soldering iron, which activates the pre-coated hot melt adhesive prior to utilizing the heating tip to apply pressure to the adhesive wire directly to a wall or ceiling thereby adhering the fiber, wire or cable to the desired surface.

摘要: A remote socket apparatus comprises a socket to receive a remote electronics unit. The socket is configured to house multiple media to connect to remote electronics housed in the remote electronics unit. The socket includes a socket interface configured to mate with a remote electronics unit interface. At least one of the socket and remote electronics unit further includes an actuation mechanism configured to connect the multiple media simultaneously. The remote socket apparatus can be utilized in a network that provides in-building wireless (IBW) communications and in a converged network that also provides wired in-building telecommunications.

摘要: A duct for distributing one or more communication lines comprises an elongated body having a length and a conduit portion with a lengthwise bore formed therein, the conduit portion containing one or more communication lines. The duct also includes a flange extending lengthwise adjacent the elongated body to mount the duct to a mounting surface. The duct also includes an adhesive layer disposed on a bottom surface of the flange. The duct may further include a strength member extending lengthwise with the flange. The strength member may be disposed between the bottom surface and the adhesive layer or within the conduit. The duct may include an open slot in the top to allow for insertion and removal of the communication line. The duct may also be configured such that the conduit portion is attached to the flange structure via a thin web of material having a thickness such that upon modest application of a peeling force, a segment of the conduit portion is detachable from the flange structure.
