    摘要: A system for transmitting power and data, particularly including a half-wave control, includes a control unit connected to grid phases, the system having a phase-failure detection device which has bistable multivibrators, especially bistable multivibrators assigned to a respective grid phase. Each bistable multivibrator has an input for setting and an input for resetting, one of the inputs being connected to a digitizing device for digitizing the positive half-waves of a respective grid phase, the other of the inputs being connected to a digitizing device for digitizing the negative half-waves of a respective grid phase. The effective value of the output voltage of the bistable multivibrator is compared by a comparison device to a threshold value to detect a phase failure.

    摘要: A method is provided for controlling operation of an air conditioning unit. The method comprises supplying line voltage to activate a motor configured to operate the air conditioning unit, and monitoring a supply of control voltage in order to control operation of the air conditioning unit, the supply of control voltage being derived from line voltage. In response to detecting a control voltage below a predetermined threshold and/or by a predetermined percentage, a time delay is initiated. The method further comprises deactivating the motor if a predetermined increase in control voltage is not detected before the time delay expires.

    摘要: An undervoltage tripping device for a multipolar low-voltage switching device is described. The tripping device contains an electromagnetic tripping mechanism for effectuating a tripping of the multipolar low-voltage switching device given a drop below a predeterminable voltage limit value. The tripping mechanism has a magnetic circuit with a spring-loaded armature and a trip coil including a number of winding portions corresponding to a number of phases of a multiphase power supply circuit. A rectifier bridge is powered by the multiphase power supply circuit. The rectifier bridge has a number of rectifier branches corresponding to the number of the phases of the multiphase power supply circuit. The rectifier bridge is connected to the tripping mechanism and the rectifier branches jointly power the tripping mechanism. The tripping mechanism effectuates an all-pole tripping of the low-voltage switching device given a failure of one of the phases of the multiphase power supply circuit.

    摘要: A power supply circuit receives and rectifies a three phase power source. A first capacitor is coupled to filter and store the rectified three phases and supply the stored energy to a DC/DC converter. The first capacitor is large enough, when all three phases are present, to filter the rectified input power and supply rated voltage to the DC/DC converter between peaks in the phases, but not too large as to adversely affect the power factor. However, when one phase drops out, additional capacitance is required to maintain rated voltage to the DC/DC converter during the periodic absence of the one phase. Thus, a switch and a second capacitor are connected in series with each other and in parallel with the first capacitor. In response to absence of one of the phases, the switch is activated to couple the second capacitor to filter and store the rectified two phases and supply the stored energy to the DC/DC converter. The additional capacitance of the second capacitor is sufficient to maintain rated voltage to the DC/DC converter during the absence of the one phase.

    摘要: A phase loss detection circuit for a three phase electrical system providing three phase power as to a motor, the three phase electrical being subject to a phase loss condition and a transient condition is disclosed. The transient condition includes starting transients, stopping transients or severe load transients. The phase loss detection circuit distinguishes between a phase loss condition and a transient condition and indicates when a loss of phase has occurred. The phase loss detection circuit comprises a detector for detecting an instantaneous voltage of the electrical system, a sensor for generating an instantaneous voltage signal representing the instantaneous detected voltage, a detector for detecting a peak detected voltage of the electrical system, a generator for generating a peak detected voltage signal representing said peak detected voltage, a comparator for comparing the peak detected voltage with the instantaneous voltage and generating a compared signal, the compared signal comprising a first polarity during steady state operation, a second, opposite polarity during the transient condition and an alternating polarity during the phase loss condition, and a detector for detecting the alternating polarity, thereby indicating the phase loss condition.
