    摘要: Various devices, such as storage devices or storage systems are configured to recycle heat generated during normal operation. This recycled heat can be captured and converted into electricity that can be stored for later discharge and use. The recycling can be done through a variety of energy recycling modules that can be placed on various components within a storage device. These energy recycling modules can be a series of semiconductors that utilize various natural effects to convert heat applied on one side of the module into electricity that can be delivered to various power storing components or used in other areas of the storage device or system. These energy recycling modules can include versions that act as a generator of electricity by capturing heat, or as a component that actively cools via received power. These modules can be placed on heat-generating components within a storage device, such as a processor.

    摘要: The current disclosure teaches and describes a generator assembly and related hand crank devices. One embodiment of the device may include a traditional generator, a handle and a crank link. The crank link is rotatably connected to the handle in a perpendicular position. A user may hold the handle and wield the hand crank device to make the crank link rotate around the handle like a clock hand, enabling the generator to provide power to the hand crank device. Such wielding motion may also be driven by other forces. The current design allows the user to charge the device with only one hand and with ease. In addition, the “functioning” components of the current hand crank device may be housed in or attached to either the handle or crank link, or both. Other components may also be introduced to make the generator assembly more efficient and easy to use.

    摘要: An induction heating apparatus includes a rotor having a rotation shaft, and a stator having a heating portion disposed at a distance from the rotor. A coil that generates magnetic flux in a direction of the heating portion is provided in the rotor. The heating portion is formed of a composite material of a magnetic material and a conductive material, and has a structure in which a magnetic material portion and a conductive material portion are combined. When the coil is in a position opposed to the heating portion, a cross-sectional area of the magnetic material portion is smaller than an area of linkage of magnetic flux generated by the coil in the heating portion, and the conductive material portion is disposed to surround a periphery of the magnetic material portion. A flow passage in which the heating medium circulates is provided in the heating portion.

    摘要: An electrical power system for a resource extraction system includes a thermoelectric generator assembly configured to couple to a wall of a fluid containment structure. A portion of the thermoelectric generator assembly is configured to be disposed within an opening in the wall that extends through the wall to a cavity within the fluid containment structure. In addition, the thermoelectric generator assembly includes a thermoelectric generator configured to be in thermal communication with a fluid within the opening and with an environment external to the fluid containment structure. The thermoelectric generator is configured to generate electrical power in response to a temperature differential between the fluid within the opening and the environment.
