摘要: A method for managing distributed renewable energy systems comprising receiving first meter data for a plurality of first meters, each of the plurality of first meters associated with a renewable energy power generation component at an institution and measuring an amount of power generated by each associated renewable energy power generation component over a first period of time. Receiving second meter data for a plurality of second meters, each of the plurality of second meters associated with an institution having a renewable energy power generation component and measuring an amount of power consumed by each associated institution over a period of second time. Determining a difference between the amount of power measured by each of the first meters and the amount of power measured by a corresponding one of each of the second meters at each institution.

摘要: A solar tracker waterless cleaning system for cleaning solar panels of a solar tracker under varying wind conditions, the solar tracker being able to be positioned at a pre-determined angle, the waterless cleaning system including a docking station, an autonomous robotic cleaner (ARC) and a master controller, the docking station being coupled with an edge of the solar tracker, the master controller for receiving and transmitting data to and from the solar tracker and the ARC, the ARC including a controller, for controlling a cleaning process and for transmitting and receiving signals, the docking station including a plurality of locking bars, coupled with the docking station, for protecting the ARC during the varying wind conditions, the ARC can anchor in the docking station and the master controller determines an average wind speed and provides a clean command to the ARC if the average wind speed is below a predetermined threshold.

摘要: A method and a device for controlling an energy-generating system are operated with a renewable energy source. In the method, a prediction about an energy yield of the energy-generating system is made for a predefined prediction time period, and a predefined area, using a learning system with an input vector and an output vector. The output vector includes operating variables for a multiplicity of successive future times of the time period. The input vector includes variables, influencing the operating variables, for a point in time from a multiplicity of points in time of a predefined observation time period. The input variables include at least three items of information for the observation time period and the predefined area. The energy-generating system is controlled on the basis of the generated prediction such that weather-conditioned fluctuations in the energy yield of the energy-generating system are reduced.

摘要: A flexible photovoltaic module for converting light into an electric current includes a plurality of electrically interconnected flexible photovoltaic submodules monolithically integrated onto a common flexible substrate. Each photovoltaic submodule includes a plurality of electrically interconnected flexible thin-film photovoltaic cells monolithically integrated onto the flexible substrate. A flexible photovoltaic module for converting light into an electric current includes a backplane layer for supporting the photovoltaic module. A first pottant layer is disposed on the backplane layer, and a photovoltaic submodule assembly is disposed on the first pottant layer. The photovoltaic submodule assembly has at least one photovoltaic submodule, where each photovoltaic submodule includes a plurality of thin-film photovoltaic cells. A second pottant layer is disposed on the photovoltaic submodule assembly, and a upper laminate layer disposed on the second pottant layer.
