    摘要: A high-accuracy linear amplifier is disclosed for sinking or sourcing current to or from a load. The linear amplifier includes input circuitry for receiving a predetermined input signal and rectifier circuitry. The rectifier circuitry is disposed at the output of the input circuitry and is operative in response to the input signal to generate a source/sink command signal. Output stage circuitry is coupled to the rectifier circuitry and includes a current sink transistor and a current source transistor. The output stage circuitry is responsive to the command signal to sink or source current through one of the respective transistors. The amplifier further includes feedback circuitry coupled between the output of the output stage circuitry and the input circuitry to provide an error signal for modifying the input signal. Bias circuitry maintains the non-conducting transistor in an on state during the sourcing or sinking of current.

    摘要: A wide-band amplifier using a plurality of transistors used in transmission, voice, applications video, high-vision in CATV, etc., for example. In the wide band amplifier, an input signal is applied in common across the respective bases and corresponding emitters of the plurality of transistors and the respective output currents are withdrawn from the transistor collectors. Thus, the output currents of the transistors are reduced, possible distortions in the outputs are greatly reduced, the upper operating frequency limit (f.sub.T) is increased to about 3 GHz, and possible distortions in the output currents of the transistors are cancelled by inserting in the input circuit a transistor having the same characteristic as the first mentioned transistors. The amplifier includes the plurality of transistors connected in parallel, a constant-current circuit as an input source for the transistors, and at least one diode having the same characteristic as the transistors and connected in parallel in the input circuit of the amplifier. A voltage drop across a series connected circuit of a transistor (Tr.sub.D) and a resistor (R.sub.EO) due to the current flowing through the series connected circuit varies depending on a non-linear portion of the base-emitter characteristic of the transistor (Tr.sub.D) compared to a similar amplifier without such a transistor (Tr.sub.D). Therefore, a wide-band high-power amplifier is obtained without employing a feedback type configuration. In the wide band amplifier, distortions are small and eliminated, and signals of high frequencies are amplified with high quality and without oscillation.

    摘要: A slew rate enhancement circuit of an operational amplifier including a main output stage, a monitoring stage and an assistant output stage is provided. An input voltage of the operational amplifier is detected by the main output stage to decide whether to output a main current to the load or not. The main output stage also generators a first push signal and a first pull signal according to the input voltage, and thereafter the second push signal and second pull signal are level shifted by the monitoring stage. A second push signal and second pull signal will turn on or turn off the assistant output stage to decided whether to output an assistant current to the load or not. Specially, the improved compact circuit does not increase state operating current for the original operational amplifier and occupy a small chip area.

    摘要: A slew rate enhancement circuit of an operational amplifier including a main output stage, a monitoring stage and an assistant output stage is provided. The input voltage of the operational amplifier is detected by the main output stage to decide for outputting a main current to the load or not.
