摘要: A traffic controller device for distributing or otherwise controlling the distribution of routing information may be included in a telecommunications network. The traffic controller may receive routing tables from a plurality of network devices, such as one or more provider edge devices of the network. The traffic controller, upon receiving the routing information from the provider edge devices, may generate a routing table associated with each device providing the routing information. The traffic controller may also provide updates to one or more of the networking devices associated with the controller. The traffic controller may alter or update, at the traffic controller, the routing table associated with the target provider edge device based on the network policy. The routing information in the routing table for that device and maintained by the traffic controller may be updated with a new route or new local preferred parameter value.

摘要: A routing control method is performed by a computer device acting as an intelligent routing server in an accelerated cloud network, the method including: receiving a routing query request sent by one forwarding node in the accelerated cloud network, the routing query request being generated by the forwarding node according to an access request for a target node by a terminal device; obtaining path information of a forwarding path according to state information of forwarding nodes in the accelerated cloud network, the forwarding path being used to forward the access request in the accelerated cloud network; and transmitting the path information to the forwarding node, wherein the forwarding node is configured to forward the access request to the target node according to the path information.

摘要: Some embodiments provide a novel method for load balancing data messages that are sent by a source compute node (SCN) to one or more different groups of destination compute nodes (DCNs). In some embodiments, the method deploys a load balancer in the source compute node's egress datapath. This load balancer receives each data message sent from the source compute node, and determines whether the data message is addressed to one of the DCN groups for which the load balancer spreads the data traffic to balance the load across (e.g., data traffic directed to) the DCNs in the group. When the received data message is not addressed to one of the load balanced DCN groups, the load balancer forwards the received data message to its addressed destination. On the other hand, when the received data message is addressed to one of load balancer's DCN groups, the load balancer identifies a DCN in the addressed DCN group that should receive the data message, and directs the data message to the identified DCN. To direct the data message to the identified DCN, the load balancer in some embodiments changes the destination address (e.g., the destination IP address, destination port, destination MAC address, etc.) in the data message from the address of the identified DCN group to the address (e.g., the destination IP address) of the identified DCN.

摘要: Techniques are described for using route target constraint to filter routes advertised to a node in a seamless Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) network. For example, a first router of a first network may generate a first border gateway protocol (BGP) message to advertise routing information for a first node of the first network, the first BGP message indicating a transport class and specifying an address-specific route target, the transport class comprising one or more tunnels to the first node that share common characteristics. In response to receiving a second BGP message originated by second node of a second network, the second BGP message comprising the address-specific route target, the first router sends the first BGP message to a second router of the second network for sending to the second node to cause the second node to import the routing information.

摘要: In some embodiments, a method adds a specific route for an IP address that is associated with a first workload into a routing table for a first network device in a first site in response to the first workload being migrated from a second site to the first site. The first network device receives a packet from a second workload for the first workload and determines that a destination of the packet matches the specific route in the routing table. The method routes the packet from the second workload to the first workload using the specific route in the routing table without sending the packet to the second site.

摘要: Provided is a virtual circuit-based data packet processing method, which includes that: identification information of a next-hop Provider Edge (PE) node of a routing packet and identification information of an Original PE (OPE) node of the routing packet are determined according to the routing packet corresponding to a Virtual Private Network (VPN) service instance; a context virtual circuit is determined, wherein nodes at both ends of the context virtual circuit are respectively the current PE node and the OPE node; a virtual circuit label of the context virtual circuit is determined; a final data packet to be forwarded is obtained by carrying a VPN label of the routing packet and the virtual circuit label with an initial data packet of the VPN service instance; and the final data packet to be forwarded is forwarded to the next-hop PE node.

摘要: A network system that uses a cluster of edge nodes to send and receive multicast traffic is provided. The network system is a network virtualization environment that includes one or more distributed routers, each distributed router implemented by virtualization software running on one or more host machines. The network system also includes a cluster of edge nodes for sending data from the one or more distributed routers to one or more uplink/upstream physical routers outside of a datacenter and for receiving data from the physical routers to the distributed routers. One of the edge nodes is a designated edge node that queries for membership information for one or more multicast groups to be received by at least two edge nodes of the cluster of edge nodes. The cluster of edge nodes forwards multicast traffic to and from the distributed routers according to the received membership information.

摘要: A method for autonomously routing data using in a peer-to-peer computer network is disclosed. The method includes identifying multiple paths from a source node to a destination node, wherein each of the multiple paths includes two or more routing segments each comprising a sending node and a receiving node. The receiving node is selected among a plurality of nodes in the peer-to-peer computer network based on round-trip times measured between the sending node and the plurality of nodes. Path packages are sent along the multiple paths from the source node to the destination node. Total one-way latencies (OWLs) associated with the multiple paths are measured using path packages from the source node to the destination node. A relayed data path is selected from the multiple paths at least in part based on the total OWLs respectively associated with the multiple paths from the source node to the destination node.

When no connection is established between the first network device and a terminal device, the first network device may aggregate and distribute collective communication packets by using a connection between the first terminal device and another terminal device.
