Abstract:
A vehicle inner tube includes an inflatable tube, a protective tube mounted around the inflatable tube for protection, the protective tube formed of a plurality of air balls and having recessed breaker seats equiangularly spaced around its inner diameter, a plurality of breaker units respectively mounted on the inner diameter of the protective tube and partially overlapped on one another and adhered to recessed breaker seats in the protective tube, the breaker units each including a flexible breaker holder having two reversely horizontally extended side insertion slots and a downwardly obliquely extended bottom insertion slot, two side breakers respectively directly inserted into the horizontal insertion slots and partially projecting out of the breaker holder at two opposite sides, and a bottom breaker inserted into the bottom insertion slot and secured thereto by glue means, an endless cover layer covered on the protective tube and adhered thereto by glue means, the endless cover layer comprising a plurality of pockets bilaterally disposed on the inside and a plurality of S-shaped breakers respectively mounted in the pockets.
Abstract:
A vehicle inner tube, which includes an inflatable tube formed of a plurality of air balls, the inflatable tube having an air chamber defined on the inside, two sets of curved grooves spirally arranged at two opposite side walls thereof around an air chamber, and a plurality of insertion slots spirally arranged around the curved grooves through the two opposite side walls, and a plurality of breaker members and side bumper members respectively mounted in the insertion slots and curved grooves at the inflatable tube, the breaker members and side bumper members each including a flexible base pad formed of a big number of air balls, and a breaker adhered to the base pad at one side.
Abstract:
A run-flat tire system comprising a tire and an tire core disposed therein, the tire core being an annular body of an elastic closed-cell material, the radially outside and inside of the tire core each provided with a circumferentially extending groove, the radially inner groove extending radially outwardly beyond a bead core line being drawn between the centers of the bead cores. When the tire is mounted on a standard rim, the radially outer groove forms a radially outer space extending circumferentially of the tire and having a cross sectional area of from 1 to 6% of the total sectional area of the tire cavity, and the radially inner groove forms a radially inner space extending circumferentially of the tire having a cross sectional area Si of from 10 to 25% of the total sectional area S of the tire cavity.
Abstract:
A non-pneumatic tire comprising a tire casing and rim assembly with a relatively solid filler for the casing comprised of an annular resilient filler having transverse ribs extending around the outer surface and connected to air chambers adjacent the rim to allow air flow from the tread portion of the tire to the inside diameter areas to equalize temperatures. One embodiment includes segmental metal portions comprising part of the filler to support an outer annular resilient ribbed filler element.
