    摘要： An impact tool enables a front cover part to be easily attached to and detached from a housing body, with a device having a simplified structure. The front cover part has an annular fastening portion clamped to the outer peripheral surface of a front edge portion of the housing body, a cylindrical portion extending from the front end of the housing to the region of the fastening portion, and a connecting portion connecting together the cylindrical portion and the fastening portion. The fastening portion is split at a circumferential part thereof to form a pair of circumferentially opposing tongue-shaped portions. A clamping device is provided between the tongue-shaped portions, which is movable between a clamping position where it pulls the tongue-shaped portions toward each other and an unclamping position where the tongue-shaped portions are released from being pulled toward each other.

The shank is encased by a sleeve and handle assembly which is used to adjust the exposed portion of the descaling members.

    摘要： A rotary cleaning device comprising a cup-shaped rotatable base member, a cylindrical resilient mounting received in the cup-shaped member, a plurality of elongated cleaning elements essentially in the form of wood screws mounted in the resilient mounting and extending through and beyond the same. The heads of the screws are positioned between the resilient mounting and the cup-shaped base member. A bolt having an enlarged head extends substantially centrally through the resilient mounting and the base member in a direction opposite from the extension of the cleaning elements. Nuts are mounted on the bolt and engagable with the base member to hold the assembly together in such manner that the heads of the screws are firmly grasped between the resilient mounting and the base member. The portion of the bolt which extends beyond the nuts constitutes a shank which is adapted to engage a rotary chuck for rotating the cleaning device. The points of the screws constitute a primary cleaning means and the threads of the screws constitute a secondary lateral cleaning means.

    摘要： A device for ultrasonic peening of metals is intended for strengthening and relaxation treatment of metal surfaces with an ultrasonic oscillation and includes an ultrasonic generator (1) having the optimized power of from 0.2 to 0.5 kW, a piezoelectric transducer with an ultrasonic velocity transformer (6) and a set of readily replaceable heads with striking tools (pins). Various sizes and arrangements of the tools allow for ultrasonic peening of parts of complicated configuration fast and efficiently. In the device, drop-wise cooling and lubrication of striking tools, as well as of treatment area are provided.

    摘要： A cluster of pins, serving to clean the surface of a workpiece, are slidably mounted in bores of a guide plate which is spring-urged against a metallic anvil, with formation of a clearance between the plate and the anvil in which the heads of the pins can move. The anvil is periodically struck by a ram which is freely reciprocable in a tool housing surrounding the anvil and the guide plate, the housing being provided with a pistol grip carrying a trigger that controls admission of compressed air to a chamber at the rear of the housing which is intermittently vented by the advancing ram to a space communicating with the atmosphere via channels in the anvil and perforations of the guide plate, thereby cooling the movable parts of the tool. The guide plate consists of a hard but light-weight resinous material, specifically polyamide 6.
