    摘要: A method, and an apparatus, for operating a hydraulic shearing machine. For cutting a shearing-movement of at least one shear blade which is curved, starting from a starting-position under application of an overall actuating-force and for resetting of the shear blades which were moved for cutting to their starting-position after accomplishment of the shearing-movement, a reset-movement under application of an overall reset-force. The shearing-movement and the reset-movement are accomplished by a hydraulic actuating-mechanism comprising hydraulic cylinders, wherein the overall actuating-force and the overall reset-force being applied to the moved shear blades by at least one hydraulic cylinder of the actuating-mechanism. The magnitude of the overall actuating-force is adjustable by switching one or several hydraulic cylinders of the actuating-mechanism in and out of operation-mode. The method proposes that the positions of the curved shear blade are controlled by a control system by regulating the flow of hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic cylinders according to setpoints for a shear blade position versus time function and the overall actuating-force and overall reset-force requirements.

    摘要: A shearing machine for severing parallel longitudinal members of grids or gratings has a horizontal guide-beam (9) which is stationary during the cut and upon which are provided counterbutts (17) in the manner of comb teeth; and a cutter-beam (10) which is movable parallel to and alongside the guide-beam during the cut and upon which blades (18) are provided in the manner of comb teeth, the blades cooperating with the counterbutts on the guide-beam to shear longitudinal members extending through notches (19,20) formed between adjacent counterbutts of the guide-beam and between adjacent blades of the cutter-beam. The guide-beam and the cutter-beam are guided in a machine frame for vertical movement into and out of a working position in engagement with a grid or grating and are associated for common motion in the vertical direction. Opposite to each of the two end faces of the guide-beam a respective stop-face (13,14) is provided; and opposite to each of the two end faces of the cutter-beam is arranged a respective single-acting fluid pressure-operated cylinder (5,6) which is fixed to the machine frame and has a piston (3,4 ) with a piston rod (15,16) formed at its end a thrust face for the respective end face of the cutter-beam for imparting to the cutter-beam a stroke parallel to the guide-beam and away from that cylinder to which fluid pressure is applied at that time.

    摘要: A drive cutter blade and a backing cutter blade are mounted in a frame and relatively movable toward and away from each other to cut through a workpiece disposed between them. An eccentric drive mechanism is connected to said driven cutter blade and operable to perform alternating cutting strokes in the direction from said driven cutter blade toward said backing cutter blade and return strokes in the direction from said backing cutter blade toward said driven cutter blade. Said cutter blades are adapted to be spaced apart a distance which exceeds the extent of one of said strokes. One of said cutter blades is a follow-up cutter blade. Follow-up drive means are connected to said follow-up cutter blade and adapted to impart to said follow-up cutter blade a follow-up movement toward the other cutter blade during each of said return strokes. Said follow-up drive means comprise a hydraulic actuator connected to said follow-up cutter blade, a hydraulic supply conduit connected to said actuator and adapted to supply liquid under pressure thereto in the direction of said follow-up movement, a shut-off valve incorporated in said conduit, and means for closing said shut-off valve during said working strokes to block the supply of liquid to said actuator and for opening said shut-off valve during said return strokes to permit of a supply of liquid to said actuator A workpiece having a thickness exceeding the extent of one of said strokes can thus be cut through in a plurality of cutting strokes and both said cutter blades remain in contact with said workpiece during said return strokes.
