摘要： A battery enclosure may be provided for managing debris and gas from at least one battery during a thermal runaway event. The battery enclosure may comprise a housing adapted to receive the at least one battery in an interior of the housing and a vent extending from the housing. In one embodiment, the battery enclosure may further comprise a spark arrestor having a first region to vent the gas and a second region positioned to capture the debris. The vent may includes a first portion, a second portion, and a central portion between the first portion and the second portion defining a bend and including an enlarged area at the bend. The vent may include a first end, a second end, and a channel defined between the first end and the second end adapted to prevent fluid from entering the housing.

摘要： A secondary battery and a battery pack including the secondary battery are disclosed. According to one aspect of the present invention, the secondary battery includes: a waterproof part configured to surround at least a portion of a circumference of the electrode assembly so that a gas within the exterior passes through the waterproof part, but a liquid within the exterior does not pass through the waterproof part; and a vent part provided in an inner surface of the exterior to provide a path through which the gas within the exterior is discharged to the outside when an internal pressure of the exterior exceeds a certain value.
