Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for altering display of selectable objects having multiple matchable ends in a computer game, comprising displaying a plurality of selectable objects of a computer game displayed by a client device, each of the plurality of selectable objects initially has a plurality of separable ends, each of the plurality of separable ends of each of the plurality of selectable objects is marked with one of a plurality of patterns, receiving user input comprising a match indication of one or more matches between separable ends of at least two of the selectable objects marked with a common pattern, and altering the display of one or more of the at least two selectable objects by breaking away and removing the matched separable end in case the match(s) indicated by the match indication is correct.

Abstract: A method and system for conducting multiple competitions of skill for a single performance are described herein. User generated competition groups and system generated competition groups allow users to participate in multiple competitions at once based on answering the same questions or making the same selections related to a single event. The users are informed of each competition either via email, text message or when logging into the network via a website. The users select which competitions groups to join. After joining the desired groups, users then make their selections related to the event which are transmitted to the network where results are tabulated and transmitted back to the users. The results are separated based on each competition group, so that users can continually know where they stand in each separate competition. With multiple competition groups, users are able to have varying success from the same performance in multiple competitions.

Abstract: In a first scene of a game played by users, an information-processing system outputs a first image or a first sound to an output device, the first image or the first sound instructing the users to shoot an image by use of a camera device. Subsequently, the information-processing system acquires color information of second images shot by the users, the color information being calculated based on the second shot images, and determines a designated color based on the color information. After determining a designated color, in a second scene subsequent to the first scene, the information-processing system outputs a third image or a second sound to the output device, the third image or the second sound instructing the users to shoot an image of an object that corresponds to the designated color. Subsequently, the information-processing system provides an evaluation to a fourth image shot in the second scene such that the closer a color of the fourth shot image to the designated color, the higher the evaluation.

The scanner is associated with a room provided by the interactive physical environment. Abstract: A method includes receiving from a first detection system, an image of a license plate, applying an optical recognition function to characters of the license plate, and assigning a confidence value to each of the characters.
