    摘要: A filter apparatus for liquids containing impurities, in particular solid particles, preferably for filtering plasticized thermoplastic synthetic plastic material, has a housing (1) in which at least one stationary, substantially flat filter (5) is disposed. The liquid to be cleaned is supplied to the filter (5) in the region of its periphery through at least one supply channel (3). The cleaned liquid is conducted off the housing through at least one downstream channel (7). At least one scraper element (17) is pressed with its scraping edge (31) against the upstream-side surface (11) of the filter (5), this scraper element (17) being movably connected to a scraper carrier (12) which can be rotated by a drive means (15) around an axis which is directed substantially perpendicular to the upstream-side surface (11) of the filter (5). The scraper element (17) strips off the impurities adhering to this surface (11) and conveys them towards the center of the filter (5) wherefrom the impurities are conveyed off the housing by means of at least one screw (38) through at least one discharge channel (39) starting from the center of the filter (5) and extending out of the housing (1). At least one scraper element (17) is connected to the scraper carrier (12) so that it can swivel around an axis (18) and the scraper element (17) extends from this axis obliquely with respect to the filter (5) in direction of rotation of the scraper carrier (12). The scraping edge (31) of the scraper element (17) is pressed by the counter-pressure of the liquid to be cleaned against the filter (5), when the scraper carrier (12) is in rotation. Thereby, a blocking of the scraper element (17) is effectively avoided.

    摘要: The apparatus is a surface water purifying catch basin which uses a lamella separator to separate out fine sediment and a separate chamber to trap heavy debris, oil, and floating debris. The surface water enters an inlet chamber which is separated from a settling chamber by a divider wall that has a lower opening between the chambers and a higher overflow. The inlet chamber traps floating contaminates and those that are heavier than the water. The opening between the chambers permits the surface water to flow into and through the lamella separator. The catch basin exit is from the settling chamber, but the water can reach the exit only through the lamella separator that separates out the fine sediment in the water. All of the accumulated contaminates can be removed through access holes in the top of the catch basin.

    摘要: An apparatus for producing high density slurry and paste backfills for use, for example, in mining operations. The high density slurry or paste is produced from a mill tailings mixture in a silo which includes a percolation and decant apparatuses for percolating water out of the mill tailings mixture and for decanting clarified water from atop the settled tailings. While settling occurs, air is introduced from the bottom of the silo to agitate the mixture to ensure substantially homogeneous settlement of the solids. Once settled, the resultant high density slurry or paste is fluidized by air in order to give the paste more readily flowable characteristics.

The tank (10), intake assembly (12), and outlet assembly (18) form an airtight, compartmented system when the entrance end (14) of the intake assembly (12) and the exit end (24) of the outlet assembly (18) are sealed.

    摘要: A stormwater pollutant separator system is provided with the system having a stormwater pollutant separator, a by-pass system, an intake conduit and an outflow conduit connected together. The stormwater pollutant separator includes a chamber with a weir plate and siphon plate therein. The chamber has first, second, and third sections. The first section is located between the chamber first end and the weir plate. The second section is located between the weir plate and siphon plate. The third section is located between the siphon plate and the chamber second end. In one embodiment the third section has filter material placed intermediate the siphon (sometimes referred to as the second weir) plate and the second end plate. A method for separating material and pollutants from stormwater drainage is also disclosed with the method including the steps of inducing the stormwater drainage initially into a stormwater pollutant separator, containing the majority of all non-floating and floating material by the use of the weir plate and siphon plate respectively, discharging the stormwater drainage therefrom, providing a by-pass system for introduction of stormwater drainage overflow thereinto, and combining all the discharging stormwater drainage together.
