    摘要: A backwashable filtering device for thermoplastic plastics material is disclosed. The device can filter thermoplastic plastics material through one or more nests of screens in the filtering position, while submitting some nests of screens to the backwashing process that cleans them. The filtering position and the backwashing position are selectable by displacing one or more carrying bodies with respect to a housing and/or by displacing one or more control bodies with respect to the carrying bodies. The backwashing can be performed over an entire nest of screens or over a portion of a nest of screens. The nests of screens can be straight or curved.

    摘要: Within a process for recycling of PET-material and/or objects of PET, the PET-material to be processed is heated and dried in the course of a pre-treatment step and simultaneously is crystallized at elevated temperature. This pre-treatment step is followed by a main-treatment step under vacuum. In this main-treatment step, the processed material is again dried and crystallized at a temperature that is higher than the temperature of the pre-treatment step. Preferably, also in the main-treatment step no plasticizing of the material takes place; the plasticizing or, respectively, melting of the material takes place only after the main-processing step. An apparatus for performing this process comprises a pre-processing device (3) in which the processed material is dried and simultaneously crystallized at elevated temperature, and, if desired, is also comminuted. A main-processing device (4) is connected to this pre-processing device (3), in which main-processing device the supplied PET-material is dried, crystallized and heated to a temperature that is higher than the temperature within the pre-treatment device.

The enlargement (22) gives way in an area of the screw housing (12) adjoining it to grooves (28), which are of a depth which decreases to the screw diameter and which are separated from each by the rigid ribs (29) projecting toward the screw (13) from the wall of the enlargement (22). Each of these grooves (28) forms a space for the synthetic plastic material, the longitudinal direction of which space runs essentially in the axial direction of the screw (13).

    摘要: An apparatus for granulating thermally unstable synthetic plastic material includes a tip-driven plasticizing screw positioned in a housing. The screw conveys the synthetic plastic material through exit openings in the housing, wherein granulating knives slidably engaged with the housing exit openings cut-off pellets of synthetic plastic material. The drive mechanism for the plasticizing screw is disposed at the exit opening side of the screw with the orbit of the granulating knives disposed between the exit openings and the drive mechanism. The drive shaft of the plasticizing screw is detachably coupled to the front, or exit, end of the screw. A conveyor blower cools the pellets as they are severed from the exit openings, and further operates to convey the pellets to a storage bin for packaging.

    摘要: An apparatus for degassing thermoplastic synthetic plastics material has a first screw section (11) for the intake of the material to be treated. The plasticized synthetic plastics material flows from the housing (10) of this screw section (11) through a connection channel (15) to a filter (16) and from there through an inflow opening (17) into the housing (18) of a second screw section (19) which conveys the material to an outlet (21). Between the two coaxial screw sections (11, 19), a sealing section (26) is disposed which avoids a by-pass of the filter (16). A baffle member (28) is disposed in front of the inflow opening (17) which forces the synthetic plastics material stream into a hose-formed shape. The baffle member (28) is displaceable with respect to the inflow opening (17) in axial direction and has a cross section which tapers towards the second screw section (19). Thereby the migration path of the gas bubbles from the synthetic plastics material is reduced and thereby degassing via the degassing openings (20) is enhanced. (FIG. 1)

The screw housing (16) has a feed opening (27) which is connected with respect to flow to a discharge opening (15) in the container (1), which discharge opening (15) is situated at a lower level than the carrier disc (9) and the tools (21) carried by it. Further moved tools (12), which convey the material into the discharge opening (15), are provided in the receiving container (1) below the carrier disc (9). The carrier disc (9) comprises at least one aperture (36) which connects the space (26) above the carrier disc to the space (10) below it, in order to divert water vapor and/or gaseous substances out of the space (10). The apertures (36) are situated close to the axis (8) and close to the trailing edges (37) of the tools (21) during the rotation of the carrier disc (9).

    摘要: A backflushable filtering apparatus for a molten material, particularly for a plastic melt, comprises a housing (1) in which a sieving arrangement (17) is provided which includes at least two sieving sections (16) separated from one another. The melt to be filtered is supplied to the sieving sections (16) through at least one distributor (3). The distributor (3) includes at least one control body (9) for backflushing which is moveable within a housing (53) that is provided with an inlet opening (4) for the material to be filtered. The control body (9), in a filtering position, unblocks the influx of material to be filtered to all sieving sections (16) through connection channels (23). However, in a backflushing position, the control body (9) interrupts the influx of material to the filtering section (16) to be backflushed and interconnects the connection channel (23) of the sieving section (16) flushed back with a discharge channel (28) located in the control body (9). At least the majority of the circumference of the control body (9) is surrounded by a distribution space (7) for the material to be filtered which is situated within its housing (53). The distribution space (7) is connectable through the connection channels (23) to all sieving sections (16) in communication with the distributor (3). Guiding channels (6) lead from the inlet opening (4) to the regions of the two front ends (61, 62) of the distribution space (7). These front ends (61, 62) are situated in the region of the outermost connection channels (23) or outside the region of all connection channels (23). The discharge channel (28), which leads away from the control body (9), may be caused to communicate with the connection channel (23) of the respective sieving section (16) to be flushed back through a flush back channel (27) of at least one cross-piece (14) of the control body (9) which overbridges the distribution space (7).
