摘要： An auxiliary apparatus for sampling blood serum according to the invention comprises a disklike flattening member having a flat surface and capable of flattening a separation surface of a blood serum separating medium contained in a sample container by urging the flat surface against the separation surface, a mounting member having a cylindrical shaft for lowering the flattening member through the blood serum contained in the sample container to thereby mount the flattening member in the sample container such that the flat surface of the flattening member horizontally urges the separation surface of the blood serum separating medium, and means for securing a space which permits a sampling/dispensing tip capable of sampling and dispensing the blood serum, to be inserted into the sample container, by detaching the cylindrical shaft from the flattening member and taking the cylindrical shaft out of the sample container, after the flattening member is mounted in the sample container by the mounting member.

摘要： Filter apparatus for filtering contaminants from a fluid, such as machine tool coolant, are disclosed. One filter apparatus includes a filter drum unit having a generally cylindrical open perforated support sheet with a cylindrical screen element mounted thereabout. Circumference varying mechanisms, such as turnbuckles, are connected relative to the support plate to vary the circumference of the support plate and the tautness of the screen element. A disc filter assembly having a mandrel and fluidly attached annular disc filter elements is also described. Each annular disc filter element has an inner structure with concentric ribs forming concentric grooves therebetween which are connected to radially extending grooves. A screen element is supported by the ribs so that the microscreen will not tear while allowing filtering of fluid into the grooves which are in fluid communication with the mandrel. A disc filter assembly having a mandrel in fluid communication with a plurality of rectangular disc filter elements is also described. Each disc filter element has a rectangular inner structure which is pleated or folded in an accordion-like fashion. A retainer secures screen elements about the inner structure to prevent contaminants from passing therebetween.

摘要： A pressure filter includes a pressure vessel having a pressure chamber and a circumferential edge; a turntable rotatably mounted within the pressure vessel about a horizontal axis; a plurality of filters non-rotatably mounted to the turntable and spaced apart from each other at the circumferential edge of the pressure vessel and rotatable around the horizontal axis through a center of the pressure vessel such that the plurality of the filters continuously dip into and out of a solid solution in a bottom of the pressure chamber. A blow-off station is positioned above the solid suspension in the pressure chamber for freeing filter cake that has dried on the plurality of filters. A filter cake conveyor conveys the blown-off filter cake through a pressure lock in the pressure vessel. Each filter forms a filter element having a filter surface which is defined by cross-section sides extending along a radius of the pressure vessel adjacent to the circumferential edge, and long sides extending parallel to the horizontal axis of pressure vessel.

摘要： A disc filter includes several triangular sectors that are connected from their neck section to the body of the disc filter. The sectors form a relatively thin disc that is rotated during filtration in a basin that contains a suspension to be filtered. The side surfaces of the sector have openings through which liquid in the suspension passes into several essentially radial flow channels inside the sector to flow on to the neck section and away from the sector. A separating wall is formed between two adjacent radial flow channels. Furthermore, the sector is made of two side elements, which are of plastic material and the mating surfaces of which are placed against each other.
