摘要: A method for continuous aeraulic separation of particulate materials consisting of a mixture of particles that is heterogeneous in both particle size and density is provided. The method includes grinding particles of materials, generating a gas stream conveying the ground particles, first aeraulic separation on the gas stream in order to separate the particles it contains into a first fraction consisting of the coarsest particles with variable densities and a second fraction consisting of the finest particles. A second aeraulic separation is performed on the first fraction in order to separate the particles that it contains into a third fraction consisting of the coarsest and/or most dense particles and a fourth fraction consisting of the least coarse and/or the least dense particles. A re-injecting of the third fraction or the fourth fraction at the inlet of the grinding is performed while simultaneous recovery of the second fraction as well as the fourth fraction or the third fraction, respectively, as output products.

摘要: A method for milling flex foil includes providing a web (14) of flex foil including a substrate; a first conductive layer arranged on one surface of the substrate; a second conductive layer arranged on an opposite surface of the substrate; a first insulating layer arranged adjacent to the first conductive layer; and a second insulating layer arranged adjacent to the second conductive layer. The method includes dry milling one side of the web using a milling wheel (20-1) and a first cliche pattern (25-1) (including a rotating drum (24-1) and a flexible substrate (26-1)) including raised portions and non-raised portions to selectively remove at least one of the first conductive layer and the first insulating layer. The method includes dry milling an opposite side of the web using a milling wheel (20-2) and a second cliche pattern (25-2) including upper raised portions, lower raised portions and non-raised portions to selectively remove the second insulating layer.

摘要: This invention relates to a process for recovering value metals from sulphide ore, including steps of crushing ore in a primary crusher (14) to a size of about 40 cm and less, passing the crushed ore through one or more of the following pre-beneficiation processes such as bulk sorting (16) and screening (20) followed by coarse floatation (46/50), or gravity separation or magnetic separation. A waste stream (54) from the pre-beneficiation process/es with a particle size greater than 100 μm is stacked in a heap (26) and subjected to a heap leach. This integrated process utilises the pre-beneficiation techniques best suited to the characteristics of a particular orebody; and during the pre-beneficiation simultaneously creating a low grade stream that yields significantly higher recoveries than achievable by normal heap leaching of low grade run of mine ore.

摘要: A system and method for dry ablation beneficiation of ore. The system comprises a nozzle to emit an air stream, and a feeder to provide ore particles for entraining in the air stream and colliding. The ore comprises gangue grains bound together with a cementing material. The cementing material comprises a desired material. The collisions are controlled to help preferentially break the cementing material over breaking the bonds holding a gangue grain together. The system also comprises a classifier to separate broken cementing material from the remaining material (which includes gangue grains) based on size. The method comprises entraining the ore particles in an air stream and colliding to preferentially break the cementing material. The ore particles may be collided with each other or a surface. The broken cementing materials are then separated from the remaining materials (which includes gangue grains). The enriched ore is the separated cementing material.

摘要: A process for manufacturing eggshell powder for use in the production of bio-based products is provided. The process involves exposing a quantity of eggshell to high air speed at room temperatures to pulverize the eggshell and separate the eggshell component from the inner membrane component. Thus, the process avoids the use of high temperatures and other harsh chemical treatments to remove the inner membrane from the eggshell thereby resulting in an eggshell material that retains the original lipid-protein structure of the native eggshell from which the powder derives. Accordingly, an eggshell powder composition is provided that is substantially free of inner membrane material and possesses a lipid-protein structure substantially similar to that of the eggshell from which the powder is derived. A polymer composite composition comprising an eggshell component and a polymer component is also provided.
