    摘要: Provided is a method of producing a cooking vessel, including the following steps: forming a blank from a sheet of stainless steel; drawing of the blank to form a cap comprising an interior surface and an exterior surface, the interior surface comprising a flat base area surrounded by a side wall; hot stamping of a diffuser base onto the exterior surface of the cap; engraving of a grid pattern over at least one portion of the base area of the interior surface of the cap to form a network of ribs having top surfaces that extend above the valleys and side surfaces that are distinct from the bottom surfaces of the valleys, said side surfaces of the ribs connecting the top surfaces of the ribs to the bottom surfaces of the valleys, the side surfaces of the ribs forming ramps connecting the top surfaces of the ribs to the bottom surfaces of the valley; sanding of at least the engraved base area of the interior surface of the cap, to create roughness; applying a non-stick coating on at least the sanded, engraved base area; and brushing and/or polishing of at least the sanded, engraved and coated base area to reveal the stainless steel on the top surfaces of the ribs.

    摘要: The profile shape of the vessel body and of handle portion is formed from a single sheet of metal to create a flat by cutting, stamping or blanking. An opening is created in the handle portion to reduce heat propagation. The shape of the pan body is formed by spinning with the flat handle portion. The handle is formed by creating three-dimensional contours in the handle portion of the blank. The neck portion has a flat section adjacent the pan body followed by sections of different curvature. One section of the neck portion has a deeply curved cross-section. That neck portion transitions to the hand grip portion which has a reduced curvature, particularly toward the unattached end of the handle. The neck portion may have a “W” cross sectional shape. The handle grip portion may have a “U” shaped cross-section for comfort.

    摘要: A method for forming a constant geometry and non-turbulent stream inducing pouring spout in the rim portion of an annular side-walled vessel. The method comprises the steps of: a) positioning the vessel within a clamp possessing a groove whose centerline forms a 90.degree. angle with the annular side wall of the vessel when the clamp is in place; b) placing inside the vessel a center plug possessing a radially extending groove whose centerline forms a 90.degree. angle with the annular side wall when the center plug is in place; c) aligning the centerlines of the grooves of the clamp and the center plug to form a straight line travel path; d) placing a pour spout former in the center plug portion's groove and causing the former to travel along the travel path and into contact with the rim portion of the vessel; and, e) further causing the former to travel along the travel path to yieldably deform the rim portion of the annular wall into the desired shape pouring spout. The actual deformation of the rim takes place in three stages. The first stage and third stages involve deforming the rim portion by the former in an outward and upward direction and an outward and downward direction, respectively, while the second stage involves deforming the rim portion in only an outward direction.

    摘要: The outer surface of a stainless steel utensil and one surface of an aluminum disk are cleaned and then separately heated at different temperatures. Thereafter, the disk is superimposed over the utensil and metallurgically bonded directly thereto by the application of pressure. Accumulated stress is relieved by cooling the bonded metal members to a temperature below 250.degree. F., followed by reheating to 700.degree.-950.degree. F.

    摘要: A cooking vessel includes a vessel body having a partially coated, textured stainless steel inner surface having a plurality of ribs rising above recesses having bottoms covered with a non-stick coating. The ribs have uncoated tops and sides that are separate from the bottoms of the cavities. The sides connect the tops to the bottoms. The tops rise above the non-stick coating covering the bottoms. According to the invention, the non-stick coating rises over the sides from the bottoms towards the tops without exceeding the height of the tops, and the bottoms and the sides have a rough surface under the non-stick coating. Also included is a method for producing a cooking vessel.
