摘要: Systems, apparatus, and methods are described for additive manufacturing or three dimensional (3D) printing of objects using a set of physical masks. An additive manufacturing device can include one or more light sources, a vessel containing a volume of print material and a transparent base through which light can enter the vessel to cure a portion of the volume of print material, and a set of masks defining a series of patterns associated with layers of a 3D object that are each positionable between the light source and the transparent base to control a pattern of the light that is received through the transparent base and therefore the pattern of the cured portion of print material.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a three-dimensional object by solidifying selected areas of consecutive powder layers is provided. At least one electron beam successively irradiates predetermined sections of each powder layer by moving an interaction region in which the electron beam interacts with the powder layer. Electromagnetic radiation from a radiation source is directed onto the powder layer to reduce local electrostatic charging in the interaction region. In this way, levitation and scattering of charged powder will be avoided.

摘要: The present invention relates to a three-dimensional printing apparatus using a digital light processing (DLP) projector with a laser scanner, the apparatus comprising: a resin storage unit storing a photocurable resin; a DLP projector unit projecting light to the resin storage unit; a molding stage unit provided to be capable of being lifted and lowered in a vertical direction from a bottom of the resin storage unit; a laser scanner unit performing scanning of light for the resin storage unit; a scanner transfer unit allowing the laser scanner unit to move in an x-axis direction; an image processing unit dividing one sectional image of a sculpture into a core portion and a shell portion; and a controller receiving data on the core portion and the shell portion from the image processing unit, controlling the DLP projector, the laser scanner unit, the scanner transfer unit, and the molding stage unit.

摘要: A mask is provided for an additively manufactured part including a plurality of openings in a surface of the part. The mask is made with the part and includes an attachment ligament configured to integrally couple to the part adjacent the plurality of openings. A cover member include a proximal end integrally coupled to the attachment ligament and distal end extending at least partially over the plurality of openings. A detachment member may optionally extend from adjacent the cover member. The attachment ligament is the sole connection to the part. The mask may have an L-shape in cross-section.

The apparatus may further include a vapor source to supply vapor into the chamber to wet the build material particles inside the chamber.

The additive manufacturing machine may include one or more irradiation devices respectively including a beam source configured to emit an energy beam, an optical assembly that has one or more optical elements configured to focus the energy beam emitted by the beam source, a beam source sensor configured to determine a beam source sensor value from a source measurement beam representative of the energy beam prior to the energy beam passing through one or more optical elements of the optical assembly, and an optics sensor configured to determine an optics sensor value from an optics measurement beam representative of the energy beam downstream from the one or more optical elements of the optical assembly. The control system may include an irradiation control module configured to provide one or more control commands to the additive manufacturing machine based at least in part on the beam source sensor value and/or based at least in part on the optics sensor value.

摘要: Systems, devices, and methods for additive manufacturing as disclosed allow for improved optical access to a build platform. In at least some embodiments a multiplexing optic of an additive manufacturing device is configured to multiplex an arbitrary number of optical paths to a build platform along a substantially common optical axis by dividing a theoretical input aperture of the multiplexing optic into a plurality of sub-apertures. Each sub-aperture can independently receive and direct an optical path to the build platform. An optical path can be a light path from a light source or an optical process monitoring path from an optical process monitoring system or optical process monitoring device. In some embodiments, an optical path can enter the multiplexing optic off-axis and/or off-angle with respect to an optical axis of the multiplexing optic. The multiplexing optic can include one or more lens elements and/or one or more mirror elements.
