摘要: An additive manufacturing system and a method for manufacturing a solid component with the additive manufacturing system is provided. The method includes determining a misalignment vector field having a plurality of misalignment vectors. The method further includes identifying one or more potential stitching positions where the solid component is generally tangent to one or more misalignment vectors. The method further includes generating a plurality of first hatching paths, a plurality of second hatching paths, and one or more stitching regions. The method further includes selectively directing the first laser beam across a powder bed along the plurality of first hatching paths to consolidate a first portion of the solid component. The method further includes selectively directing the second laser beam across the powder bed along the plurality of second hatching paths to consolidate a second portion of the solid component.

摘要: A three-dimensional additive manufacturing device, which performs additive manufacturing by irradiating, with a beam, a powder bed laid on a build surface area, includes a projection unit that is configured to project a pattern in which there is a luminance distribution in the build surface area and the luminance distribution changes over time, an imaging unit configured to image the pattern projected onto the build surface area, and a reflective part configured to reflect at least one among a first light beam projected by the projection unit and a second light beam captured by the imaging unit. The projection and imaging units are disposed outside the chamber where the additive manufacturing is performed on the build surface area. The reflective part is accommodated inside the chamber. The first and second light beams pass through one first window portion installed on the chamber.

摘要: The disclosed embodiments relate to the monitoring and control of additive manufacturing. In particular, a method is shown for removing errors inherent in thermal measurement equipment so that the presence of errors in a product build operation can be identified and acted upon with greater precision. Instead of monitoring a grid of discrete locations on the build plane with a temperature sensor, the intensity, duration and in some cases position of each scan is recorded in order to characterize one or more build operations.

The control system is configured to generate a model of a component including a plurality of elements and at least one region of interest. The control system is also configured to apply at least one strain load to at least one element of the plurality of elements and generate a build characteristic contribution profile based on the at least one strain load. The control system is further configured to determine a build parameter based at least partly on the build characteristic contribution profile.

Each laser focal spot is projected onto the power bed and is or is set to a diameter of less than or equal to 300 μm. Components to be produced in the powder bed region are manufactured by each of the laser beams, and each individual surface contour of the component is manufactured solely by one of the laser beams.

The scanning module is for emitting a laser to the powder preplaced between the first and second powder spreading arms to solidify the powder to form the product.
