摘要: The invention describes a laser printing system (100) for illuminating an object moving relative to a laser module of the laser printing system (100) in a working plane (180), the laser module comprising at least two laser arrays of semiconductor lasers and at least one optical element, wherein the optical element is adapted to image laser light emitted by the laser arrays, such that laser light of semiconductor lasers of one laser array is imaged to one pixel in the working plane of the laser printing system, and wherein the laser printing system is a 3D printing system for additive manufacturing and wherein two, three, four or a multitude of laser modules (201, 202) are provided, which are arranged in columns (c1, c2) perpendicular to a direction of movement (250) of the object in the working plane (180), and wherein the columns are staggered with respect to each other such that a first laser module (201) of a first column of laser modules (c1) is adapted to illuminate a first area (y1) of the object and a second laser module (202) of a second column (c2) of laser modules is adapted to illuminate a second area (y2) of the object, wherein the first area (y1) is adjacent to the second area (y2) such that continuous illumination of the object is enabled.

摘要: A method of manufacturing pre-formed, customized, ceramic, labial/lingual orthodontic clear aligner attachments (CCAA) by additive manufacturing (AM) may comprise measuring dentition data of a profile of teeth of a patient, based on the dentition data, creating a three dimensional computer-assisted design (3D CAD) model of the patient's teeth using reverse engineering, and saving the 3D CAD model, designing a 3D CAD structure model for one or more CCAA on various parts of each tooth, importing data related to the 3D CAD CCAA structure model into an AM machine, directly producing the CCAA in the ceramic slurry-based AM machine by layer manufacturing, enabling the provider to deliver patient-specific CCAA's by an indirect bonding method to the patient's teeth to improve the efficacy and retention of the clear aligners.

摘要: An additive manufacturing machine includes a laser light source, a beam entry window, a recoater, a plurality of light sources attached to the recoater, a photosensor, and a controller. The laser light source emits laser light to selectively melt one or more portions of a working layer of a powder bed during additive manufacturing of a part. The beam entry window is positioned between the powder bed and the laser light source. The recoater moves across the powder bed to spread the working layer. The photo sensor senses intensity of light emitted by each of the plurality of light sources through the beam entry window. The controller correlates sensed intensity of the light emitted by each of the plurality of light sources through the beam entry window to corresponding positions on the beam entry window based on locations of each of the plurality of light sources.

摘要: Disclosed herein are systems and methods of use thereof. For example, disclosed herein are systems and methods for printing using superluminescent light. For example, disclosed herein are methods of printing with superluminescent light, the methods comprising: generating a patterned light sheet from superluminescent light, with the proviso that the superluminescent light is not generated by a femtosecond laser; and projecting the patterned light sheet at an image plane onto or within a sample comprising a photosensitive material; thereby simultaneously illuminating a selected portion of the photosensitive material within a layer of the sample corresponding to a selected pattern, thereby causing a simultaneous photoreaction that prints structures in the selected pattern.

摘要: Described herein are methods and systems for printing a three-dimensional object. In an example, a method for printing a three-dimensional object can comprise: (i) a metallic build material being applied; (ii) a binder fluid being applied on at least a portion of the metallic build material; (iii) the selectively applied binder fluid can be flash fused to bind the metallic build material and the selectively applied binder fluid by application of an energy flux having an energy density of from about 0.5 J/cm2 to about 20 J/cm2 for less than about 1 second. In the example, (i), (ii), and (iii) can be repeated at least one time to form the three-dimensional object. The binder fluid can comprise a liquid vehicle and polymer particles dispersed in the liquid vehicle.

摘要: A forming apparatus capable of producing an inorganic material-containing formed body having improved quality and a method of making the same are provided herein. In some embodiments, a forming apparatus includes a stage, a supply unit configured to intermittently or continuously supply a precursor including an inorganic material onto the stage, a heat source unit including a heat source for thermal solidification to perform thermal solidification of the precursor supplied to the stage from the supply unit, and a control unit configured to control the supply unit and the heat source unit such that the heat source for thermal solidification performs thermal solidification of the precursor on the stage, during a period ranging from the start of the supply of the precursor by the supply unit to the stop of the supply of the precursor, to form a formed body.

摘要: A fabrication device includes a build surface to receive layers of material for production of a 3-dimensional solid representation of a digital model and an imaging component to bind respective portions of the build material into cross sections representative of portions of data contained in the digital model. The imaging component may be a programmable planar light source utilizing a micropixelation system and refractive pixel shifting mechanism, or other imaging system. The device may include a system for controlling the density of the printed part. The object may be a powder composite component using any of a variety of powder materials or a plastic component. The object may be further post-processed to produce a high precision metal or ceramic component.
