摘要： The subject disclosure discloses a quarter window assembly and an automobile with the same. The quarter window assembly comprises a triangular glass, a guide rail, a sealing member and a fixing assembly; the guide rail is provided with groove and a fixing portion disposed close to the groove; the sealing member is snapped into the groove, and a side edge of the triangular glass is fixed on the fixing portion and abuts against the sealing member. The fixing assembly includes a lifting member and a fixing bracket, the lifting member is disposed on a bottom edge of the triangular glass and is suitable for being fixed on the door sheet metal, and the fixing bracket is disposed on the guide rail and is suitable for being fixed on the door sheet metal.

摘要： A sealing assembly for a vehicle comprises a sealing body extruded from an elastomeric material formed from an ethylene propylene diene monomer and having a base and first and second legs spaced from one another extending from the base. The base and the legs define an interior surface and a first channel for receiving a panel, and further define an exterior surface opposite the interior surface. The sealing body defines an overmold region opposite the first channel extending along a portion of the exterior surface of the sealing body. The sealing assembly further comprises a bonding layer of a first thermoplastic vulcanizate co-extruded onto the overmold region of the sealing body, and a molded layer of a second thermoplastic vulcanizate molded onto the bonding layer with the molded layer defining a second channel for receiving a fixed window of the vehicle. Also disclosed is a method for manufacturing a sealing assembly.

摘要： In a method of manufacturing a seal assembly, strips of material are extruded to form first and second bodies, and ends of the bodies are positioned into a mold cavity of a molding apparatus. An elastomeric material is injected into the mold cavity to form a locator device having a foot portion and a tab portion with the tab portion defining a first reference point. A thermoplastic elastomeric material is injected into the mold cavity to form a corner mold covering the body ends and the foot portion of the locator device with the corner mold defining a second reference point. The corner mold bonds the first body end, the second body end, and the locator device together to fix the locator device to the first body end at a locator position such that a predetermined distance between the reference points is maintained during injecting of the thermoplastic elastomeric material.
