The flexible housing includes an internal pouch, an external pouch, and at least one frangible button. The internal pouch includes an inner surface and an outer surface. The inner surface of the internal pouch is configured to enclose the consumables. The external pouch is attached internally to the outer surface of the internal pouch. The at least one frangible button is included between the external pouch and the internal pouch. The at least one frangible button is configured to release a liquid to react with a heating agent and initiate heating of the consumables. The sealable cap is attached to top of the flexible housing and configured to dispense the consumables.

The sheet also comprises a second layer comprising a second copolyester having a glass transition temperature of equal to or greater than 112° C. The second copolyester comprises from 15% to 50% by volume of the sheet. The sheet is thermally stable after exposure to temperatures up to 112° C. Various embodiments of the sheet are also described.

A frozen food assembly within the bag includes uncooked food, preferably an entree. Typically, the food assembly includes a meat, a fruit or vegetable, and a flavoring liquid such as a broth or stock, and may include infused oil or a dairy product. The uncooked food is typically embedded in the frozen liquid to facilitate handling and shipping and to align the frozen food with a display window of the bag. Chemical preservatives are not necessary and sauces may be omitted although sauces are not burned in the cooking process. The method typically includes sealing the frozen uncooked food in the liquid-impermeable bag and cooking the food in the sealed bag. The resulting dish is a substantial improvement over the well-known precooked frozen meals.

The present invention relates to a sweet potato that is individually packaged after curing for market and actual cooking. After the sweet potato has been harvested, cleaned and cured, it is then individually packaged by wrapping a heat-shrinkable plastic film around the potato. The wrapped potato is then subjected to heat and the plastic film is heat-shrunk around the entire sweet potato and forms a tightly bound plastic film around the entire sweet potato. This plastic film protects the sweet potato during transport and preserves the quality of the sweet potato for an extended time period. Lastly, the individually wrapped sweet potato is ready for immediate microwaving while contained within the same heat-shrunk plastic wrap.
