Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and device for rotating rotational bodies (1), such as rolls, along their longitudinal axis (X) by means of motion of a trough-like surface (2) guiding and supporting said body (1). In the invention, the axis of rotation of the body (1) moving on said surface is guided by means of the profile (2a, 7a, 7b) of the surface (2) to a new position to eliminate the swinging of the body (1). In an embodiment, said profile (2a, 7a, 7b) comprises a straight section (2a) and a section (7a, 7b) which is arranged at least on the other side of the same, and which comprises a surface that rises outwards. The diagonal surface can be arranged as a separately attachable part. By means of the invention, the swinging of the conical roll (1) is prevented during rotation.
Abstract:
A take-up reel has a diameter equal to or more than 85 times a thickness of a veneer sheet wound thereon and equal to or more than 300 mm so as to be of a curvature of the take-up reel to reduce cracking in parallel to fiber orientations that occurs in winding a veneer sheet after drying on a winding surface of the take-up reel. A veneer reeling apparatus comprises: a take-up reel disposed in a veneer sheet reeling position in a rotatable manner; a drive roller disposed on the lower surface of the take-up reel, transmitting a driving force with a variable speed; a veneer dryer disposed upstream from the veneer sheet reeling position; a conveyor provided between the terminal end of the veneer dryer and the drive roller in the veneer sheet reeling position; an a plurality of thread feeding mechanisms disposed at arbitrary spatial intervals along a length direction of the take-up reel for a veneer sheet, wherein a continuous dried veneer sheet or dried veneer sheets whose sizes are of a constant length or of a length at random are wound on the take-up reel to form a veneer roll, with threads as guide by a frictional force of the drive roller. Further, pairs of two overlapping veneer sheets or set of a pair of two overlapping veneer sheets and a single veneer sheet can be wound on the take-up reel in a composite form.
Abstract:
Method for winding a material web onto a reel in an apparatus that includes a rotatable feed roll, a carrying drum, a discharge roll and a pulper. Winding device for winding a material web onto a reel, said winding device including: a feed roll, a carrying drum, and a support belt which is adapted to guide the material web over the feed roll and the carrying drum. An external vacuum device is positioned adjacent a circumferential surface of the carrying drum which is not contacted by the support belt and the material web and a winding nip is formed between the carrying drum and the reel. A discharge roll is provided for guiding the support belt, and the discharge roll is located in the vicinity of a pulper, downstream from the carrying drum, relative to a web run direction. The discharge roll is also adapted to divert at least a portion of the material web to the pulper before feeding the material web to the reel. The carrying drum may include at least one of circumferential ridges and perforations, and the support belt is one of a perforated and an air permeable belt. Preferably, the carrying drum includes a perforated jacket.
Abstract:
A method for producing a roll from printed products in a winding operation includes winding the printed products with winding tape onto a winding core; driving a winding rug with a first drive, wherein the winding rug is arranged on the underside of the winding core and fitted against the winding core for rotating the winding core; driving a winding tape supply with a second drive, wherein the winding tape is unwound from the winding tape supply; and maintaining a predetermined tape tension during the winding operation. Maintaining the predetermined tape tension includes measuring speed and distance with measurement devices at the first and second drives to obtain measured values, computing the diameter of the winding tape supply with the measured values, and regulating a rotational moment with the computed diameter of the winding tape supply to maintain the tension.
Abstract:
A conveying apparatus. The apparatus includes an air-cooled hydraulic driving unit, a hydraulic motor, a conveyor and a connecting element. The air-cooled hydraulic driving unit includes a hydraulic pump, an electrical motor, pipes, a flow regulator, and a cooling fan. The cooling fan is adapted for low temperature environment and does not require complicated pipes, so that the conveying apparatus of the present invention can be flexibly combined with other devices or applied to various processes.
