摘要: In the present invention, 3,3-dimethyl-4-pentenoic acid (DPA) which is used for preparing permethric acid, an intemediate for preparing pyrethroid insecticides, is directly prepared from an isoprenol or a mixture of isoprenol and prenol without having to convert the isoprenol into a prenol or separate the mixture thereof into isoprenol and prenol. The present invention, therefore, has many advantages in view of yield, purity and procedure.

摘要: The present invention provides a process for inhibition of polymerization of a (meth)acrylate ester, which has an extremely higher effect of inhibition of polymerization than in cases where conventional polymerization inhibitors are used. In the process for inhibition of polymerization of a (meth)acrylate ester; an N-oxyl compound and at least one member selected from the group consisting of manganese salt compounds, copper salt compounds, 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine compounds, and nitroso compounds are used together as polymerization inhibitors, and further an acid is used.

摘要: The present invention relates to the field of organic synthesis and more particularly to a new process for the preparation of a compound of formula (I), in the form of any one of its isomers or a mixture thereof, wherein, more preferably, G represents a C═O group, R1 represents a butyl group and R2 represents a methyl group. The process of the invention involves an 2-(1-hydroxyalkyl)-cyclopent-2-en-1-one derivative, as starting material, which can be then converted into a compound of formula (I) by a process comprising a thermal rearrangement. The 2-alkylidene-3-oxo-cyclopentylacetate derivative and the 2-(1-hydroxyalkyl)-cyclopent-2-en-1-one derivative are also an object of the invention.

摘要: There is disclosed a process for the preparation of a lower alkyl ester of 3-(2-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoroprop-1-en-1-yl)-2,2-dimethylcyclopropane carboxylic acid which comprises the steps of (a) reacting a compound of formula: CF.sub.3 --CXCl--CH(OH)--CH.dbd.C(CH.sub.3).sub.2 (I) wherein X is chloro or bromo, with a tri-lower-alkyl orthoacetate containing up to four carbon atoms in each alkyl groups in the presence of at least a catalytic amount of an acid catalyst at an elevated temperature for a sufficient time to obtain a compound of formula: CF.sub.3 --CXCl--CH.dbd.CH--C(CH.sub.3).sub.2 --CH.sub.2 CO.sub.2 R (III) wherein R is an alkyl group containing up to four carbon atoms, and (b) treating said compound of formula (III) with at least one molar equivalent of a base to obtain said alkyl ester of 3-(2-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoroprop-1-en-1-yl)-2,2-dimethylcyclopropane carboxylic acid. The products are useful as intermediates for insecticides.
