    摘要: A tubular film for encasing food. The tubular film comprises a material which has been regenerated from a viscose solution. The tubular material is longitudinally stretched by from +8 to +40 percent and transversely stretched by from -20 to +40 percent while wet and the stretch is maintained during drying, said transverse stretch and longitudinal stretch being sufficient to obtain a surface area increase of at least 10 percent from the point of regeneration. In general, the tubular material has a wall thickness of from about 60 to about 90 percent of the same tubular material except without the combined stretch. The invention also includes the method for making the tubular material by stretching the regenerated tubular material while wet and maintaining the stretch during drying.

    摘要: A process which comprises suspending a reactive-dyed cellulose material, optionally in mixture with pulp, in an alkali metal hydroxide solution (alkali cellulose), optionally subjecting the alkali cellulose to the action of a reducing sulfur compound at a temperature from 20.degree. to 80.degree. C., then allowing the alkali cellulose to ripen at temperatures from 30.degree. to 80.degree. C. for at least 30 minutes, dissolving the alkali cellulose at a temperature from 10.degree. to 30.degree. C. by conversion with carbon disulfide into the xanthate, and spinning the xanthated alkali cellulose into fibers, makes it possible to recycle cellulosic waste textiles into similarly colored or colorless cellulose fiber materials.

    摘要: This specification discloses pelletized pre-dope granules of cellulose and a tertiary amine oxide wherein the tertiary amine oxide is homogeneously dispersed throughout the cellulose and a process for making them. According to the invention, the pelletized pre-dope granules can be prepared by a process comprising of the steps of feeding cellulose to a mill with knife-edged blades, together with the tertiary amine oxide powder having a water content of 5 to 17% by weight; and milling and blending the resulting solid mixture in the blender, while heating the solid mixture at a temperature sufficient to agglomerate as a result of instantaneous melting of tertiary amine oxide powder and simultaneous penetration of the molten amine oxide into cellulose without dissolving the cellulose. The pre-dope granules thus obtained can be used in making shaped cellulosic articles such as fibers and films. According to the invention, the shaped cellulosic articles can be produced from the process comprising the steps of heating the pre-dope granules in the barrel of an extruder to give a dope solution, extruding the resulting dope solution to provide an extrudate to be spun, and spinning the extrudate through a spinnerette or die.
