    摘要: The present invention relates to a method for the preparation of microparticles and solid microcapsules comprising the following steps: a) the addition, with stirring, of composition C′2 in a composition C3, the compositions C′2 and C3 not being miscible with each other, the composition C′2 being either a monophasic composition C2 or an emulsion (E1) comprising drops of a composition C1, comprising at least one active ingredient, dispersed in a polymeric composition C2, the compositions C1 and C2 not being miscible in each other, the viscosity of composition C3 being greater than 10,000 mPa·s at 25° C. at a shear rate of s−1 and being less than 10,000 mPa·s at 25° C. at a shear rate of between 100 s−1 and 100,000 s−1, wherein an emulsion (E2) is obtained b) applying shear to the emulsion (E2), the applied shear rate being less than 1000 s−1, wherein an emulsion (E3) is obtained; and c) the polymerization of the composition C′2.

    摘要: The invention describes a color-developing composition that contains at least four major components: (1) a leuco dye or a combination of leuco dyes, (2) an electron-withdrawing color-developer agent or a combination of color-developers that can form colored complexes with the leuco dyes, (3) a separator or combination of separators that when present in sufficient amounts, can prevent the formation of the colored complexes between the color-developer and leuco dyes, all contained within (4) an encapsulation matrix that includes at least one film-forming and one aqueous-insoluble polymer. All of the foregoing components are dissolved together in a volatile organic solvent medium to form a homogeneous solution that can be applied as an ink on substrates, which can be incorporated as part of absorbent articles or personal care products.

    摘要: An irreversible thermochromic ink composition can include thermochromic pigment capsules dispersed in a carrier. The irreversible thermochromic pigment capsules can include an inner core having a color changing dye, a color activator for activating the color changing dye, and a wax, an outer core surrounding the inner core and comprising a color destroying agent, and a shell surrounding the outer core. Alternatively, the irreversible thermochromic pigment capsules can include an inner core having a color destroying agent and a wax, an outer core surrounding the inner core and comprising a color changing dye and a color activator for activating the color changing dye, and a shell surrounding the outer core. Written marks made with the irreversible thermochromic inks can be rendered a different color or substantially colorless by application of a sufficient amount of heat to melt or substantially liquefy the wax in the irreversible thermochromic pigment capsules.
