摘要:
The present invention provides stretchable warp-knitted fabric that is a 1null1 tricot formed by running a non-elastic yarn and an elastic yarn side by side in such a manner that in each stitch, at least one of the non-elastic yarn and the elastic yarn forms a closed loop, a method for manufacturing the fabric, and stretchable clothing using the fabric at least in a part. Since a cut edge of the knitted fabric can be used as a hem of the clothing without finishing, sewing is simplified. It is possible to provide fashionable clothing that has appropriate stretchability enabling the clothing to well fit the body of the wearer, that is thin and has a beautiful texture, and that, when it is formed in underwear, has a hem line invisible through outerwear.

The disclosure is of a conveyor belting particularly useful in conveying edible dough and bakery articles made therefrom during bakery operations. The belting includes a woven scrim or strength member, a batt of non-woven cotton fibers that is needled to the scrim, and an elastomer that is impregnated into the combined scrim and batt. The belting is provided with an embossed impression surface that simulates the texture of a traditional woven cotton belt.

The method of making a tubular member having a continuous and uninterrupted cured elastomeric resin coating on an outer surface of the member includes forming a continuous uninterrupted tubular layer of uncured elastomeric resin and drawing the resin layer against the surface of the tubular member to be coated by applying suction between the resin layer and the surface of the tubular member so that the resin adheres to the surface of the tubular member. The elastomeric resin may then be cured to produce the final product. Apparatus for carrying out the process is disclosed and includes, in sequence, a coating zone including a sub-atmospheric chamber, a heating zone and a feed mechanism for advancing the tubular member relative to the coating and heating zones. A method is also disclosed for molding a distal end cap on an open end of a length of a preformed tubular sleeve member that may be used for prosthetic applications. A process is also disclosed for molding a sleeve member having prosthetic applications using male and female die elements used to distribute uncured elastomer resin as a layer on a tubular elasticized fabric sleeve element.

The present invention provides a warp knitted fabric containing a latent crimp fiber but no elastic fiber, and showing a stretchability of 60% or more in both the warp and weft directions, and a residual strain at 60% elongation recovery of 15% or less in both the warp and weft directions. The warp knitted fabric of the present invention shows little lowering of the stretchable functions during dyeing at high temperature, repeated washing, repeated stretching, or the like treatment, and is excellent in elongation recovery due to the high stretchability, surface smoothness and shape retention.

The present invention provides roofing membrane that increases wind resistance by having at least a two sheets of scrim material (10) that is between an upper layer (12) and a lower layer (14). The upper and lower layers (12 and 14) may be a thermoplastic or other material appropriate for use in a roofing membrane.

A durable, water-resistant, breathable, multi-layer laminate adapted to transmit moisture and composed of (1) an outer woven, non-woven or knitted layer of fabric, (2) a discontinuous non-breathable hydrophobic adhesive, (3) a first hydrophilic barrier film adhesively secured to the outer fabric layer, by the hydrophilic adhesive, (4) a continuous film or discontinuous breathable hydrophilic adhesive, and (5) a second hydrophilic barrier film adhered to the hydrophilic adhesive. The first hydrophilic barrier film and second hydrophilic barrier film are adhesively secured to each other with the breathable hydrophilic adhesive and define a void area between the two films and together the films enhance moisture migration and transfer. The laminates may include two additional layers of (6) a second hydrophilic adhesive, and (7) a fabric backing layer secured by the second hydrophilic adhesive.

The present invention relates to a warp knit having excellent touch and a process of preparing such a warp knit. The present invention provides a warp knit consist of a front surface layer and a rear surface layer, the front surface layer consisting of ultra fine yarn with mono-filament denier of 0.01null0.9 denier, the rear surface layer consisting of synthetic yarn or high shrinkage yarn with mono-filament denier of 1null5 denier, wherein the recovery rate of elongation in the directions of wale and course is 8null30%. The warp knit according to the present invention is used to manufacture artificial leathers or ladies' clothes.

A multi-layer protective glove fabric comprises a base cloth layer, a second stretchable cloth layer overlying the base layer, a third latex layer coated on the base layer and a fourth wax layer over the third latex layer to prevent the latex coating layer from blooming. The method of manufacturing a protective glove with this multi-layer construction includes (1) heating a fabric layer at a first elevated temperature; (2) applying a viscous latex spreading compound over a surface of the fabric layer at a second, lower elevated temperature, to prevent the latex from penetrating the fabric layer but ensuring its adhesion to the fabric layer; (3) applying wax over the latex at least at the first elevated temperature, to prevent the latex from blooming; (4) adhering an opposed surface of the fabric layer to a second fabric layer to form the multi-layer fabric and (5) forming the multi-layer fabric into a glove.
