摘要: Embodiments of a process for manufacturing a paper-based malleable dough for moulding and sculpting applications are described herein that include: soaking and mixing shredded paper in water, yielding a paper dough; and adding and mixing at least one setting-type joint compound with the paper dough. The at-least one setting type compound is added in a weight ratio of setting type compound to shredded paper of between about 11:8 to 17:8. The paper-based malleable dough allows creating objects that are ecological, durable, malleable and lightweight and that brings out the creative side of the user.

摘要: Example approaches are disclosed for manufacturing composite or fiber reinforcement preforms. Liquid, fibrous, binding and potentially other materials are mixed into a composite mixture slurry in a slurry container. A porous tool having a specific porous outer surface portion approximating a specific exterior surface portion of a spatial shape of a final product is immersed in the slurry container. A suction pressure is applied to draw a portion of the fibrous material intermixed with a corresponding portion of the binding material in the slurry onto the specific outer surface portion. The porous tool attached with the wet preform is removed from the slurry container. The wet preform is partially dried into a partially dried preform attached to the porous tool. The partially dried preform is dried, solidified and/or consolidated and/or injected with a resin and cured into a solid composite preform of the spatial shape of the final product.

摘要: A method of making a formed, dried lignocellulose fiber material comprising (a) providing an aqueous lignocellulose fiber pulp slurry having an effective consistency; (b) de-watering the slurry to provide a de-watered material at an effective de-watering rate under an effective pressure to prevent or reduce the formation of fissures and voids within the material; (c) drying an effective amount of the de-watered material at an effective temperature and period of time to provide the formed, dried lignocellulose fiber material having a thickness of at least 5 mm. The formed, dried lignocellulose material may be used to make a lignocellulose fiber-resin composite material of use as a cost effective structural member, as a substitute for steel, in, for example, bridges, processing equipment, and the like.

摘要: Disclosed is a process of manufacturing a thickened angle ring. The process includes the steps of: soaking wet paper into deionized water for 1 hour; beating bonding surfaces of the two pieces of wet paper into fuzzed and rough surfaces; placing a heat resisting polyester film and a nylon net on a mold, and placing one fuzzed wet paper on the mold in contact with the nylon net on smooth side thereof; placing the other wet paper in contact with the fuzzed surface of the previous wet paper on fuzzed side thereof, and beating until the wet paper fits the mold; placing a further heat resisting polyester film and a further nylon net on the two pieces of wet paper for pressing.

摘要: The present invention relates to a high strength material and a high strength molded article comprising 65 to 100 wt. % of cellulose microfibrils; and products comprising these. The material, which is lightweight and has a very high strength, can be used for various purposes and can be produced by recycling wastepaper, used cloth and the like. Furthermore, by appropriately selecting the type and/or amount of binder, the material comprising microfibrils as a main component can be decomposed by microbes or the like after being dumped as waste, and is thus friendly to the global environment.
