摘要: A method of making a formed, dried lignocellulose fiber material comprising (a) providing an aqueous lignocellulose fiber pulp slurry having an effective consistency; (b) de-watering the slurry to provide a de-watered material at an effective de-watering rate under an effective pressure to prevent or reduce the formation of fissures and voids within the material; (c) drying an effective amount of the de-watered material at an effective temperature and period of time to provide the formed, dried lignocellulose fiber material having a thickness of at least 5 mm. The formed, dried lignocellulose material may be used to make a lignocellulose fiber-resin composite material of use as a cost effective structural member, as a substitute for steel, in, for example, bridges, processing equipment, and the like.

摘要: Free-flowing dunnage of molded pulp pieces (10), having random non-nestable shapes to insure the free-flowing characteristic, is made by a method and apparatus involving partially drying pulp fibers on a forming-die screen (38) to form intermediate dish-shaped pieces, form-free removal of such pieces from the screen, and thereafter drying them free of form support to obtain random shapes. One preferred embodiment involves blowing intermediate pieces from the screen onto a conveyor (50) for subsequent drying, such blowing and landing altering the intermediate piece shapes to enhance randomness in the shapes of the dunnage pieces, and another involves using heated air for partial drying.

摘要: The present invention relates to a dosing device (too) that is integrally made of molded pulp fiber. The dosing device (too) comprises a container portion (200) for receiving and retaining a dosage material having an opening (250) at an upper side (US) of the dosing device (too) to access the dosage material. The dosing device (too) comprises a handle portion (300) for manually moving the container portion (200) in a dosing process. The handle portion (300) is connected to an outer surface (211) of the container body (210) by a connecting portion (350) of the handle portion (300). A rim portion (252) of the container portion (200), which delimits the opening (250), and the handle portion (300) extend in a common plane (CP) and define a circumferential edge (101) of the dosing device (101). The dosing device (100) comprises a ribbing portion (400), which extends from the circumferential edge (101) at least at the handle portion (300) to a lower side of the dosing device (too), for dissipating mechanical stresses arising in the dosing process. The invention relates also to a method for manufacturing the dosing device (too) and a use of the dosing device (too) for dosing a dosage material.

摘要: The present disclosure describes methods of treating fibrous cellulosic materials with sucrose fatty acid ester containing particles (carrier systems) that allow for modifications of surfaces, including making such surfaces water resistance and/or oil/grease resistance. The methods as disclosed provide combining at least one saccharide fatty acid esters (SFAE) with a polymer (e.g., latexes) to form micellular particles and applying such particles to substrates including fibrous cellulose-based materials (e.g., pulp) to form, inter alia, molded products. Compositions comprising combinations of SFAE, a latex and optionally a mineral or other additives are also disclosed.

摘要: Method of manufacturing a moulded pump product. The method includes activating a vacuum source, injecting an amount of pulp into the internal mould chamber through the mould opening, thereby forming a pulp preform on the internal mould surface, injecting a dewatering and heating fluid through the mould opening at gradually increasing pressure until a maximum pressure, thereby performing a dewatering and drying step whereby the pulp preform on the internal mould surface is dewatered and dried, deactivating the injection of dewatering and heating fluid, deactivating the vacuum source, and extracting the moulded pulp product. An option further step includes initiating rotation of the mould about the central axis thereof and increasing rotational speed gradually, maintaining a maximum rotational speed of the mould at least during a substantial part of the dewatering and drying step, decreasing rotational speed gradually until standstill of the mould.

摘要: The present invention is a suction box for dehydrating the intermediate form of an inorganic building board during manufacturing or dehydrating the material slurry which is eventually molded into inorganic building boards. The suction box can change the open area ratio of dehydration space easily and can be used with pressure forming machines. The suction box has a frame member with a bottom plate, plural bridge members, plural spacer members and a pair of fixture members. The open area ratio is the space formed between each bridge member, including an interval with the bridge member and an outer frame portion in the frame member with the bottom plate.

摘要: A process for the production of foamed material from waste paper and the like, such as paper, cardboard, waste cardboard or materials with similar properties, are usable in the same way as raw material, either sorted by type of material or as a raw material mixture. First, a liquid-containing pulp is prepared from the raw materials. The foaming and hardening of this pulp takes place under the action of microwave radiation. By using suitable molds permitting an unobstructed access of the radiation to the liquid-containing mass and unhindered expulsion of the resulting vapor, it is possible to manufacture any type of shaped bodies in a continuous or batch-wise process.
