摘要: A railway sleeper component and a sleeper made from two such components joined by a gauge bar. The sleeper components being characterized by a top and a base joined by hollow columns with webs between the columns. Each component including means whereby a rail may be mounted on the top of the column together with an end of the gauge bar. The columns are hollow and are open at the base and at or near the top to permit grout to be admitted at the top to flow through the base and into the rail bed ballast to bind the components to the road bed.

摘要: Systems and methods for automatically offloading railroad ties from a railroad car are described. A system embodiment includes, but is not limited to, a support platform including a support surface to support railroad ties in a vertical stack configuration; a support structure to hold the railroad ties stacked in the vertical stack configuration in a magazine during transit, the support structure defining a gap; a gate transitionable between a closed configuration and an open configuration, wherein the closed configuration blocks at least a portion of the gap, and wherein the open configuration permits passage of the railroad ties through the gap; and a lift structure including at least one member transitionable between a lowered configuration and a raised configuration, wherein the raised configuration positions the member above the support surface to raise an end of the railroad ties to offload the vertical stack.

摘要: A train rail track structure system includes a c-face down steel channel cross tie defining a plurality of holes in a top wider web surface thereof and a protrusion with perpendicular faces extending from an underside of the top surface, the holes configured to pass a fixative and solidifying mixture into a ballast bed there beneath. The protrusion anchors the steel channel cross tie in the fixative and solidifying mixture and the ballast bed. The disclosed system also includes a c-face down steel channel connecting link defining a receptacle for at least one intermediate rail support member in a top wider web surface thereof. The link also defines tabs and notches proximal to both longitudinal ends of the steel channel connecting link configured to interleave with at least one steel channel cross tie and interlock the steel channel connecting link to the steel channel cross tie.

摘要: A support system for a rail section which bridges the gap between foundations which are relatively movable auxiliary rails running parallel to the rail across the sleepers which are supported by the foundation, and underpinning supports providing a stiff connection between rail and auxiliary rails.
