摘要: An evaporator which is small, light and whose activating time is short. The evaporator has an atomizer for atomizing a fluid being supplied into a conduit for the fluid to be heated in a plate type heat exchanger. To produce the evaporator, a metal plate is bent in a U shape, a heat exchanger module unit is produced by connecting a flow blocking member to one end of the U-shaped plate; a first interval maintaining member is attached to an outside surface of each of the plates; a second interval maintaining member is attached to an outside surface of each of the plates; and a plurality of said heat exchanger modules is arranged in a piled parallel relationship, with the first and second interval maintaining members maintaining a predetermined interval between the plates.

摘要: The invention relates to a heat exchanger of the crosscurrent type, through which at least two fluids flow, consisting of plates which are stacked one on the other between two cover plates and which are spaced from one another in regions and are in contact in regions, so that fluid paths are formed between them in a heat transfer region, and of inlet ducts and outlet ducts which are arranged laterally in duct regions and which are formed from inlet duct openings and outlet duct openings in the plates, at least one inlet duct and one outlet duct being fluidically connected to a group of fluid paths which are next but one. The object of the invention is to develop a heat exchanger of the type initially mentioned, in such a way that, while having at least the same operating reliability, it can be produced more efficiently and more cost-effectively and has a lower weight. In order to achieve this object, there is provision for the spacing of the plates to be carried out by means of shaped-out portions of the plates.

摘要: A heat exchanger has stacked plate elements that are joined together so as to form first and second sets of channels. Each set of channels has an inlet port and an outlet port to allow fluid to flow in and out of the channel in the set. A distributor is located in the inlet port of the first set. The distributor has a first and a second end, with the distributor first end being located near a fitting in the inlet port, and the distributor second end being located near a rear plate of the heat exchanger. The presence of the distributor in the inlet port forms a passage for fluid flow into the respective channels. The passage is larger at the distributor first end than at the distributor second end. The passage can be formed by channels or grooves in the outside diameter of the distributor. Alternatively, the passage can be formed by variations in the outside diameter between the first and second ends of the distributor. For example, such a distributor could be frusto-conical in shape.

摘要: The heat exchanger can be used for the vaporization of a pressurized liquid and comprises at least one passage way (P) for a liquid extending in a first direction, being provided with exchange waves that are substantially parallel to the first direction and comprising at least one redistribution area associated with at least one lateral collector in an intermediate area of the length thereof, in addition to being provided with deviation waves extending in at least one second direction forming an angle with the first direction, whereby the redistribution area takes up the entire width of the passage way, in a crosswise position with respect to the first direction, whereby the deviation waves communicate with the exchange waves. The deviation waves are essentially as rigid as the exchange waves. The invention can be used with exchangers in pumped air-distillation devices.

摘要: The invention relates to a plate-type heat exchanger having a plate block comprising partition plates which delimit flow channel layers between the plates. According to the invention, the partition plates have a solid or folded edge, which projects out of the plane of at least one main side of the partition plates at the edge side, along closed-edge regions which are spaced apart from one another in the peripheral direction by means of intervening open-edge regions. In the plate block, this solid or folded edge is joined in a fluid-tight manner to the opposite edge region of an adjoining partition plate and functions as a lateral boundary for the associated flow channel layer. Such heat exchangers may be used, for example, in automobiles and reactors of fuel cell systems.

摘要: A combined component consists of a heat exchanger and a reactor. The heat exchanger is designed in a plate form, and flow spaces for a first medium and a second medium are alternately defined between successive plates. The plates of the heat exchanger are configured as essentially annular. The heat exchanger has, substantially perpendicularly to the plates, a tubular outer wall and a tubular inner wall. The reactor is surrounded by the inner wall of the heat exchanger. The product of the reactor is conducted through supply orifices on the inner wall of the heat exchanger into the flow spaces for one of the two fluids in the heat exchanger.

摘要: A module for a heat exchanger comprises a first generally planar member having a first opening at an opposite end with respect to a second opening. A second generally metallic planar member has a first opening at an opposite end with respect to a second opening. The first generally planar member may be aligned with the second generally planar member to form a cavity in communication with the first opening and the second opening. A pattern of elevated regions may extend from the first generally planar member and the second generally planar member. The pattern of elevated regions has a regional longitudinal axis that is tilted with respect to a reference longitudinal axis of at least one of the first generally planar member and the second generally planar member. A flow longitudinal axis may be tilted with respect to the reference longitudinal axis to facilitate a cross-flow of the fluid with respect to the elevated regions.
