摘要: Some embodiments of the present invention provide a method of navigating through a terrain using a human-scale vehicle, the method including: receiving an origin point and one or more destination points in the terrain; selecting route segments of a plurality of predefined route segments to navigate a user from the origin point to the one or more destination points in the terrain using the human-scale vehicle; obtaining motion data from one or more motion sensors disposed on at least one of the user and the human-scale vehicle during traveling of the human-scale vehicle along the selected route segments; and determining, based on at least a portion of the obtained motion data, terrain characteristics of the selected route segments.

摘要: Calibrating a pressure sensor of a mobile device includes determining a first plurality of calibration values for a first plurality of visits to a first revisit zone to which a mobile device repeatedly returns; determining a first relative calibration adjustment value based on the first plurality of calibration values; determining an adjusted absolute calibration value based on i) an absolute calibration value used to calibrate pressure measurements made by a pressure sensor of the mobile device, and ii) the first relative calibration adjustment value; and calibrating pressure measurements made by the pressure sensor of the mobile device using the adjusted absolute calibration value.

摘要: Systems and methods use cameras to provide autonomous navigation features. In one implementation, a method for navigating a user vehicle may include acquiring, using at least one image capture device, a plurality of images of an area in a vicinity of the user vehicle; determining from the plurality of images a first lane constraint on a first side of the user vehicle and a second lane constraint on a second side of the user vehicle opposite to the first side of the user vehicle; enabling the user vehicle to pass a target vehicle if the target vehicle is determined to be in a lane different from the lane in which the user vehicle is traveling; and causing the user vehicle to abort the pass before completion of the pass, if the target vehicle is determined to be entering the lane in which the user vehicle is traveling.

摘要: An electronic device determines an estimate of angular position based on an accelerometric signal supplied by an accelerometric sensor and as a function of at least one of a gyroscopic signal from a gyroscopic sensor and a magnetic signal from a magnetic-field sensor. A processing module implements a complementary filter, which is provided with a first processing block, a second processing block, and a combination block. The first processing block receives the acceleration signal and an input signal indicative of the magnetic signal and generates a geomagnetic quaternion. The second processing block receives a signal indicative of the gyroscopic signal (gyro) and generates a gyroscopic quaternion. The combination block determines the estimate ({circumflex over (q)}) of angular position by complementarily combining the geomagnetic quaternion and the gyroscopic quaternion based on a combination factor that has a dynamic value and an adaptive value and that varies as a function of the operating conditions.

摘要: A mobile device includes an operation section, a storage section, a communication section which receives a position detection signal, and a processor. The processor detects a current position based on the position detection signal. The processor makes a determination on whether to give an image forming apparatus (a determination target apparatus) a return instruction to return from a power saving mode to an active mode. When it is possible to determine that a distance between the determination target apparatus and the mobile device has decreased by a distance equal to or greater than a reference distance while a moving speed of the mobile device is equal to or greater than a reference speed, the processor determines to issue the return instruction.
